Sometimes grimoire score [u]can[/u] be a good indicator of skill, but not always as for example: I have been playing since the beta and have a fairly respectable score, but that doesn't mean I'm a god at this game, especially in the crucible. I'm a terrible joke when it comes to the crucible.
