I think it's a measure of experience which can relate to skill level. As you say, the more experience one has at something, generally the more skillful they will be at it. There are exceptions but there is no other way to differentiate good players from bad, that's about all you can go by. Of course you could research every player that may want to join your fireteam but that's not very practical. You can ask for whatever you want in a fireteam member. If some don't like it, too bad. So the bottom line is if you want to use it that way, I have no problem with it. Many would have a problem with it but it's their problem not yours.

You could have extremely low grim and have full KF raid gear. Lol. Mine is rather low, at 4200. Why.... because after 16 months I still have not taken the time to grind for those stupid dead ghosts. Lol!

Sure, there are always exceptions. But if you want to be selective as to who joins your fireteam, what else is there to go by? Do you expect a fireteam leader to inspect everyone's character to see if they have raid gear? Some don't like the raid gear and they infuse it into other gear. Are they now bad players? I'm not saying using grimoire is a good thing to use, there just isn't much to use otherwise.

Ah, I never need to select my fireteam. Had the same one since beta. So I have never given much thought to picking out randoms. Lol
