Grimoire shows playtime really.But then again if you spend more time doing doing something it's obvious you will get better.That and very high grimoire players obviously shows dedication to the game,which is mostly done by higher skilled gamers.Thats not to say grimoire directly correlates to skill,but it used to be a quick indicator as to how experienced/skilled a player was when your using LFG.
