I can see why people are using this as a strategy, what really bugs me is that it's still a one shot headshot, despite being (apparently) hugely underpowered as a year one weapon in a game mode where light level matters. Surely the levelling should be such that it won't one shot, even as a sniper?

Exactly. In light level modes, it should be so low as to be irrelevant. I mean, 3-shot headshot, 6-shot body, seeing as how it's barely over half the light of y2 guns.

My 149 Felwinter's still OHKO's. Its a high impact gun. Nothing less should be expected.
