Your assumptions are making you look dumb as hell. I'm not defending it. I could honestly not give any less of a shit what people in Destiny pvp are doing, especially when it comes to you being killed by a 1000 yard stare with "fake" ammo in it. My honest thoughts all along have been to make snipers a primary weapon, like they actually are everywhere else. It will stop people from body shotting with a sniper and finishing with tlw or the other way around. I'm just surprised that people cry a such as they do about [i]everything[/i], considering every weapon type has been basically run into the ground because people can't use them properly. People have been sniping in this game for as long as I can remember, and the only way I foresee to change this situation is to lose special everytime you die, which is basically broken like heavy ammo used to be. Even still, there will be those who will use ib still just for its regen ability and that reason only.
