So people are using a gun's perk to get an advantage in a competitive setting, I don't see that as a problem. Yes, it totally circumvents Bungie's intention with special ammo but that's on Bungie for creating this sniper meta. They should have nerfed special weapons (and heavies) some other way like making it so that your radar disappears while you have it out and takes 5 seconds to come back when you switch to a primary.
