Dot plus no health recovery makes thorn OP which is why we won't be seeing it in any other upgraded form just like ghorn for pve. Not gonna call anyone a bitch but the fact that you used it over many other viable options shows that you wanted to be cheap about the kills for the HC. There's many other good HC options from Yr 2 you could have chosen over thorn. I'm using hawkmoon for my HC kills.

That is available for Yr 2 which makes it a Yr 2 weapon as well unlike thorn. Just stating a Fact....

Hawkmoon regardless of which one you use is still a year 1 weapon.

That has been upgraded to YR 2 unlike thorn. Why do you think it hasn't been upgraded then? Hawkmoon has been nerfed into the ground and there are numerous better alternatives to it for HCs but I like the feel of the weapon

Hawkmoon also got a nerf to its main perk LitC which made hawk awesome so awesome. Now it's a mediocre HC that isn't really worth the exotic slot. All yr 2 weapons are just reskins of yr 1 weapons so your argument can be made that almost all yr 2 weapons are yr 1 weapons with different names. It's common practice that if its attack level is 280+ its yr 2 and <170 is yr 1. My hawkmoon is 305 so that would classify it as a yr 2 version.

1. Thorn --> part of the community says it's OP 2. TLW --> part of the community says it's OP 3. Hawkmoon --> part of the community says it's OP U are among the number 1 community. I appreciate ur opinion. But the fact is that for every exotic handcannon (weapon in general) there are people who will call u a scrub, OP etc... This all is just about the fact that people have to stop bitching a little bit and find/learn ways to counter it.. We all payed for the game and it's content. I hate it when people use mida, but i look for a countering method instead of bitching about it. I can't tell people they can't use a gun otherwise they are a scrub or whatever..

Agree with 1 and 2. Hawkmoon has been nerfed into the ground and there are several legendary HCs better than it. As for TLW, it's only OP when in close to medium range.

Never the less, all three are OP for somebody and it will always remain that way.. I barely use hand cannons but the bounty required me to do so. I'm not gonna check off a checklist of OP or not OP weapons before i pick the one that is not OP but isn't also completely trash.. I don't believe there are cheap kills. A weapon still requires aiming and pressing that shoot button. Just as it requires dodging, and sticking people with grenades/throwing knifes etc. Fact is, I saw the bounty, checked my vault, saw the Thorn and was like, damn that's been a long time (first slot in my vault), let's try it out! :D

I'll never tell someone how to play the game but will tell you if it's a cheap tactic. That's my opinion. Good luck in Crimson doubles and if I tbag you bc your using thorn I apologize ahead of time. ( doing this to all thorn users)
