Hi, i am not a veteran or maybe for some i am but at least i was a player since the beginning and enjoy every aspect of this game. I will give you my bumpfortruth. Also i like to add some ideas from me, and reasons behind the scene which i believe.
- nightfall is dead. They killed it with the TTK.
I think this was made for players under age 15. Nightfalls were a good challenge for good players but not so fun for who was under average. It was a big mistake, but they made this game available to children for money.
- bring back year one content. Seriously. No reason why year one, everything we paid for, was left behind.
Main reason is they tried to block non-ttk users from weekly and daily events and forced them to but their shitty over price dlc. Think about it, if they let year one content available again there will be uproar from non-ttk users. Because they have every right to play that content.
- raid weapon rewards. They're disappointing. Majority of the players loved getting a primary with an elemental burn
This was made for more grind and keep players more online. With no elemental burns, every -blam!-ing thing last long.
- An in-game, looking for group board.
This was too made for keep players online, when you are looking for a group you will be online at Destiny. That useless time will count as play time.
- a huge problem now, that sadly a lot of desticles don't see, are the micro transactions and the micro transaction events.
this was made for milking children, deticals more and more... TL;DR, most of decisions made by Bungie is to extend online time or milk their players.

 • I agree 100% with milking as much time as possible stuff. I would always laugh when bungie would release numbers about how much play time has happened in the game. Like come on guys, who you fooling? We all know most of that time is spent sitting around looking on the forums and lfg forums for raids and nightfall members. Sometimes a raid would take like 6 hours to complete, simply because not everyone can stay and play. A guy leaves you need to replace him. People keep leaving you need to keep replacing them.
