(They really know how to hype up a game, especially with footage from the actual scrapped Destiny game from a year before release),
Its usually the people and players that hype games up before release, but Destiny and Bungie was a very interesting exception. I mean we got straight up lied to in case of a complete 180 degree turn a year before launch...
Another one is Ubisoft and their The Division project. They have posted and intentionally leaked the playable map layouts such as the huge Brooklyn map or the 2013 E3 gameplay video near the Brooklyn bridge that isnt even in the game now. They did never deny any speculation and talk about it. And that even when big YT channels were speculating and talking about it. They even encouraged it in some instances!!!!!!! Ppl are now pissed about the map size even tho its not small by any means now, but bcoz they were misled for two years hyping up map sizes tripple the size as now. I really hate the secrecy from devs... Lets take a good example from EA and DICE (oh god...) and the Battlefront road map. They posted what to expect, when it comes and the content in it. Its so easy... Just give ppl some crumbs they can collect here and there to build up a good way of hype... Not saying anything is way worse then saying atleast something.
