Nightfall is not endgame anymore. The rewards are fine for it. I don't think they should bring it up to 300+. If they do then players who are lower light lvls are completely shut out and their path to getting raid ready will just get a million times longer. You can't have everything.
Bungie never said they wouldn't sell Spark of Lights. They said that that stuff you buy with Silver would only be cosmetic. And it was. Emotes? Cosmetic. Racing book and rewards? Cosmetic. Masks? Cosmetic.
And the character boost pack isn't technically in game. You have to go to the PlayStation store. Petty nitpicking, but they didn't lie about that.

Nothing at all. That's why you have tons. People starting out, trying to get endgame ready have one; Nightfall.

Except nightfall gives -blam!- all when it comes to loot.

It gives 290 guns, armor, ghosts, 3oCs to get 290 Exotics to use if infuse, Strange Coins to buy 3oCs. Perfect for a low light level player. Don't be salty because you aren't getting upgrades when you're 310+. It's not meant for you.

People left. But people join too. For instance, from my perspective, the game has never been more alive, and fun as it is now. I just recently had 7 of my friends join. So this game went from a game that I was playing by myself, and getting ready to quit. To a game I never want to stop playing, it's just so fun. Perspective is everything.

Cheers man. Couldn't agree more. I met folks through this game that I play other games with, including this one, all the time now. And I ha e other friends getting in for the first time and I can't until I get to walk them through the raids and such. Good stuff!!!

Right now? How bout that 290+ ghost shell? Those 3oCs to get exotics at 290 that, if you don't use, can be infused to bring legendaries up to 290. How bout any of the 290+ weapons or armor that can be used or infused. I mean, am I the only one who's realized that Nightfall is intended to get you to 290 and raid ready?

The fact is that the stuff you get just isn't gonna help anyone as much as grinding strikes would be. The nightfall would be so much more useful to everyone if they just put it back where it was in year one. Nightfall modifier back, more frequent exotics, less frequent ghost shells.

Strikes barely drop stuff above 280. If you're lucking you get an unencrypted engram. If you're stupid lucky, you get an exotic engram. If you're 280 and go into the raid, you'll be slaughtered. Here's the path. Stop me if I go fast. Strikes --> Nightfall --> Normal Raid --> Hard Raid --> Cash Money, Bitches Am I speaking Dutch?

No sir, I have been through normal with 280s and once I even had one in the 260s, both did fine. Sure maybe the nightfall does help them, but what about Us veterans? At least a harder mode that can give us better rewards, can't say I wouldn't like that.

Most companies would have moved on. Does COD of Battlefield get developer updates this far into their games life cycles outside of a small patch? Don't answer. It's rhetorical. Bungie is still making shit for this game, listening to feedback and trying to make it better. Yeah, they aren't doing the best job, but they are still making efforts when every other company for every other game would have thrown in the towel months ago. So, sorry that this one game mode doesn't give you what you want. It's not like there are the the raids, Shaxx bounties, and trials every week as well. But since you asked nicely, I'll hop in the bandwagon. While we're at it, let's make every story mission 300+. Every strike requires a primary gun with are last 300 light and firefly. Every strike is now Epic. Every PVP mode has Level Advantages enabled. After all, the new players, the people who are and will continue to ensure that this game flourishes, are not worth catering to. They don't deserve anything. It's all about the people who play this game like its their life and complain about it regardless of how Bungie is working. You're not entitled to anything. What you have is worth a kings ransom already.

They need to have a hard nightfall and then the bs one, hard should be 310 and the normal will stay 280

I'm all for bring back the XP boost or at least the flaming head, but there are enough avenues to gear up in this game right now for endgame. Not everything can cater to 300+ folks. Again, you can't have it all. I want new content, not higher light level stuff for existing content. But I can understand that new PVE content is harder and more time consuming to produce than PVP, where all they need to do it add a modifier to existing game types. But trust me. The tedium is still gonna be there if all they do is boost up the remaining strikes to heroic and make VOG and CE Year 2. First off, you won't get good gear. I bet if VOG and CE and POE come up they'll be MAXED out at 300 gear. Folks will be complaining about strikes days after they come out because they forgot that Sepiks Prime wasn't that great of a boss after all. Either way, folks'll be complaining no matter what Bungie does, short of them coming to each players house and going down on them. And even then, there'll be salt… Course, in that instance, it will be a little more justified.

Sure. That'd be the trade off. Course, they'd probably have redone the weapons. VOG guns were ridiculously OP (in Bungie's eyes, not mine) so I doubt FB or VoC will be as godly if brought up. Certainly no burns. Fairly certain those are gone for good.
