I'm not saying it was about peace. And as you said, [u]some[/u] of the eliksni have not become fallen. This is true. But the rest of them? They would gladly obliterate humanity to regain their great machine. Who wouldn't? At this point, if they don't reobtain it; they will surely die. But so will we. For now that is. Difference in objectives can lead to fallouts and coups. I feel bad for the eliksni, but for what's left of them; it's kill or be killed. Perhaps house judgement will survive, yes. But the others have bathed in our blood. They must atone, and we must survive

Thats philosophical, variks proves not all fallen are "insane" and obsessed with power, and if peace is ever made with them, it wouldn't be in the form of letting them flood the city, it would be letting emissaries such as variks in
