So in the new update the trend was PVP, PVP, PVP, PVP..............pve raid fix.
For the love of batman can we get some sort of PVE event or update?! Some of us are sick of playing the same damn strikes over and over again.
If you want Destiny to be CoD in space, just push an update that erases all PVE content already, put us out of our misery.
Please Bungie, while I appreciate the positive changes to PVP, please get off your knees for the PVP community.

Destiny is changing. Most Year 1 content has been rendered obsolete. The focus for Year 2 has been on PVP. The end-game for PVE has remained basically broken with regards to receiving good drops consistently. The exception to this is the weekly challenge. This is Destiny. We either accept the changes or move onto another PVE based game. I have over 2000 hours into this game so have received my money's worth. I'm not happy where the game is now at but sadly there's nothing I can do to change the direction that Buingie's now headed. I will stick it out a bit longer because the camaraderie of playing with clan mates is truly the FUN part of this game for me right now. It is what it is. Destiny, the game that had so much potential sadly fell short of greatness.

What size coffin do we need?

This is exactly why I quit playing Destiny several months ago. For whatever reason, I was okay with playing Year 1 content over and over again for a full year. But I got sick of Year 2 and TTK after about a month and a half. So did all my friends. Bungie really has blown it in Year 2. Not beyond repair I don't think, but it is going to take a hell of a lot of good news to get me to reinstall the game again. Until then I will be using my hard drive space for something actually worth spending time on. Destiny just isn't it, not anymore... Year 1 was special. How they managed to get from that to this is beyond my comprehension. Still rooting for Destiny as a franchise though. I may not want to play anymore. But I do want to want to play. Just can't.

Bump to support a PVE post. It's about time the PVE side of the community started becoming more vocal.
-
I used to be PVE only till my nephew said try pvp. It's actually fun even at my age! Whether I win or lose, it's very satisfying. Especially when I'm on a really good team and I hear...this is not a fight, it's a massacre!

Edited by SINISTASOUNDZ: 2/5/2016 8:51:03 PMabout time pvp gets some love

Well, you shouldn't have grinded your life away the first 24 hours TTK was released...then maybe you'd still have some content to play. :p
-
Pro tip: only way to get them to listen is to stop playing
-
#batman in there
-
Good pve sucks only pve I ever truly enjoyed was the original gears of war horde mode
-
They still haven't even made the Spindle ship droppable for those that already got the Black Spindle. It's BS.
-
I want more pve
-
Well they talked about some dreadnaught updates I think, and some stuff about teleporting ogres in the raid or something, idk thought didn't look at that stuff much because I don't do much pve lol
-
testiny is not a epic pve shooter with pvp element testiny is a pvp call of duty clone where you have to grind 1000 time the same pve content for your weapons
-
unless they add some seasonal ladders to give incentive to grind the same raid i dont see how they will add more pve content. like diablo they should just have a pve ladder system with light and reset it every 2 months so the pver will have something to grind for each season. and have seasonal shaders or emblems. like diablo 2 good portion of the community played pvp and also pved and this is how they found a middle ground. as for the meta each season should have updated exotics like they tried in the beginning of ttk where they revamped the suros and nemesis helmet. each ladder season should bring something new like revamped exotics and legendarys to keep the so called "meta" fresh. but not like diablo 3. that shit is pretty much all pve... diablo 2 and diablo 2 lord of destruction kind of ladder system and pvp.

This is one of the reasons I migrated to Elder Scrolls Online. While they are two very different games, having a world that large to explore is exactly what I look for in a game. If Activision had given Bungie the money to create a world that size, I would have stayed with Destiny for years. I love the gameplay and the design, but boredom just did me in.
-
I like how you proved yourself wrong with your first sentence.
-
Agreed. I played this game to get away from PVP. I already have black ops 3, halo 5 and battlefront for that. That's why I haven't played in any substantial amount since October.

They don't care, why should we?
-
Actually they abandoned destiny all together. You eventually will figure that out . till than enjoy their lackluster game.
-
Do you people expect bungie to make PVE content when they can make easier/more money from emotes?
-
Edited by alant27: 2/5/2016 4:24:36 AMPvp isn't really getting anything new , just some matchmaking and rules tweak. I suppose the Crimson doubles is an event , sure . But it's just a rehashed elimantion event . Pve content is much more time consuming to make obviously , and there probably working on destiny 2 at moment . I imagine a small pve update in April

.......still waiting on the ability to purchase Armor Materials for leveling up & infusing armor!

Before christmas in an update URK said there is plenty coming in the weeks up to the start of the spring, so why not wait and see??? It's not spring yet, its the first week in february. This means that after the february update and Crimson event they will start giving info about the next thing, it even said at the bottom of yesterdays update that next week they have something else to share. If you think they are going to give you a detailed roadmap about the whole year you are dreaming. They won't ever promise anything, because that will completely -blam!- them over if any unforeseen issue arrives. It can only go wrong for them. Whatever is on the way, isn't ready to be shared yet. It will appear when its scheduled to be released. Just because that isn't now does not mean they have abandoned PvE, at all. I'm just as frustrated as you, I hate destiny PvP, I want PvE info, theres nothing much to do until we get something. I just play other games instead in the meantime, I don't see the point in getting stressed out about it. When new stuff arrives ill come back and play it. Ranting about it won't make any difference.
