You're being dramatic lol its not that big of a deal, you're making it sound like you throw out your melee and grenade the second after you get them.

I am constantly meleeing in close quarters, I find it possible to kill shotgunners solely with melee because you can just jump over them. Like I said, maybe it is just my play style and I should adapt to sniper TLW comboing
