Defender should've been the first thing you leveled up
Or second.
I can understand why you're mad though, because there was other defender Titans.
But come on man, Defender Titan is the best pve subclass in the game
Why handicap yourself? Some might say it's a crutch, but if it's in the game and it makes the game easier why not use it?
We all level up so it can be easier in the future not harder.

I mostly agree with you, except I think Nightstalker and Defender are both contenders for top spot in PvE.

The only reason I put nightstalker 2nd is because Weapons of light Let you do more damage to a boss than tether [spoiler]plus you can use the bubble for protection [/spoiler]

This is true, but with Defender you have to choose between protection and doing damage. The moment you exit the bubble, you become vulnerable to hostile fire. Ignoring bosses, tethers will subdue enemies while you shoot them with your weapons, meaning you don't have to choose between safety and attacking. Nightstalkers can also generate quite a lot more Orbs of Light than a Defender bubble, meaning your allies can charge their Supers much more quickly. Both subclasses have their strengths and weaknesses, and skilled players in either of them will be a huge help to their team. That's why I say they're tied for top spot in PvE.
