Defender and nightstalker are the two best PVE classes in the game. No excuse to be running anything else in a hard raid

They shouldn't have to make an excuse to play the subclass they want. There's no excuse to expect people to play a certain class because you want them to otherwise you're going to kick them.

I never use bubble. Ever. Hammer in raid is best I make orbs for all u bubble babies

Edited by YahyaTV: 2/3/2016 5:04:57 PMCrest + Gift of the Void = 6 Orbs every time, you can have infinite bubble by chaining them with another defender. But if you prefer Hammer, keep running it, Defenders are useful, but certainly not essential.

Yeah, aside from orb generation, Gunslinger and Blade Dancer are definitely just as good as Night Stalker for PvE..

The orbs AND the damage. Also the utility of keeping adds locked down on the taken phase of golgoroth, as an example.

The damage isn't really a factor unless you're specifically targeting a boss for damage. The lockdown can be replaced by a good Handcannon.

Actually, I'd say Gunslinger armed with a good Handcannon is probably the best of the three when the subclass perks are set right.

Tether make every shot at a boss(enemy) a precision shot You can argue that gunslinger with Nighthawk is just good but with tether the whole team is shooting at the boss. So it does more damage total. Gunslinger is good but I'd rather help the entire team do more damage to a boss.
