Self rez is much more useful then striker though, All a striker will be good for his the grenades, in regards to the super a FoH is really only going to be able to clear a group of adds and that's it. It is much more useful to have a self rez lock. What Sunsinger should do though is if there are plenty of orbs on the ground they should use there supers create orbs then pick up the orbs on the ground to get there super back. I agree that players tend to not do this. I understand the argument of using song of flame or radiant skin but a real warlock running sunsinger will understand he can be very useful and create orbs in the right situations while having self rez on just in case they make a mistake.
In the end a Sunsinger Vs Sriker in the raid the Sunsinger wins every time.

I don't disagree with you. However, as I said before, this wasn't a debate between striker vs sunsinger. This was striker vs "self Rez warlock".

Self rez still win 100% of the time, lets look at oryx, would you rather have a striker that has a class and super that does absolutely nothing or a self rez lock that can rez if they make a mistake, Granted you should not dies in the first place but it happens. Also you cannot compare the whole striker class with just the warlock self rez, you either Compare the striker class vs the Sunsinger class or you compare Fist of Havoc with Radiance(self rez).

I wasn't the one originally comparing striker vs self Rez. I only responded to it. I've also stated many times already striker vs sunsinger as a whole that obviously sunsinger is more useful. This was simply me shutting down the usefulness of self Rez in a team oriented situation in comparison to striker. If the only thing said player is going to use his super for is that incaseshit moment, he's no more useful than the striker.

Regardless throughout your replies to everyone I don't think you really understand the usefulness of self res. Self res is not just the crutch everyone thinks it is. using self res changes your play style completely. This allows players to be more aggressive take bullets for the team or play the roll that is harder or has more chances of dying. Also if you happen to die you have the ability to self res and prevent a wipe. Striker cannot do these things, you will still play the same style of play and even end up playing to risky having to get close enough to use FoH and if you die your dead and often will cause a wipe. Self res is useful and is team oriented just not in the same way as other team oriented supers such as defender or night stalker.

It changes nothing. If you're solely basing the self Rez ability's usefulness on the fact that you can play in hero mode then I believe it's you who doesn't quite understand the ability. Dying should never be something you're willing to do.

Edited by cViking: 2/3/2016 5:14:27 PMAgain you are not understanding, clearly dieing in the first place is the last option but if you think preventing a TEAM wipe and the ability to in some cases protect your team knowing you can just rez if you die is not useful then your just being ignorant.
