That's probably the dumbest response I've ever heard. I raided just fine in VoG with striker and no one said shit
The people I ran with knew that as long as I knew what I was doing and contributed, then I was all good.
You can be selective when raiding but not too selective...otherwise you look like an asshole

Across three raids you have 20 clears, 4 in KF. If it's too difficult for you to understand why people would prefer you use a subclass that's beneficial to the group as a whole, I suggest you keep doing what you're doing, not raiding.

It's true I've beaten normal oryx twice and never beaten HM but that doesn't mean idk how to raid. I'm that guy that does what's necessary WHILE saving your asses. Everyone that I know(including the flawless badassess that are on my friends list would argue that I have the most raid experience, not the least. Completions aren't everything. You can do all the parts of the raid flawlessly, but if you don't beat the boss, then it shows up that you haven't really done anything. Trust me I have raid experience. I'm one of the people that gives good suggestions and listens well. I'm reliable and I defend the group better than many players do. In all the raids bosses I've been in, (except for bosses that auto wipe you [like the oryx clap]) I die the least. My survivability is through the roof. I don't need to be told by some guy that I have no raid experience because that couldn't be farther from the truth. Thanks for the laugh though
