Strong? Granted. Over powered?... You'll have to make a VERY strong argument to convince me

Overpowered=Better than every other super Right now the super just outclasses most others in a lot of categories.
-
This is where it gets tricky Almost every super will win 1v1 vs SC but SC is the best super vs a group of guardians(not in super).
-
That's true. I was referring to when it's against a group of Guardians without supers. If I was just going off of 1v1 super combat, Fist of Havoc and Nova Bomb would probably win, but they aren't that great outside of that.

Edited by LoneWolf12923: 2/3/2016 2:27:14 AMTell me how. It slows you down, you can't Sprint, it has to be held on a player for a second or so to fully kill someone, and it can still be shut down by supers such as Nova Bomb, Fist of Havoc, Golden Gun, or Shadowshot.
-
It only becomes overpowered when Transcendence is used. The extra time granted by it is insane.
-
Edited by Orange Lithium: 2/3/2016 1:02:24 AMDoesn't last very long when they're dead
get good enough to kill them
-
You need to be far enough that bullet damage drops off for them to not kill you first. The speed is too high.
-
Sounds like an average players problem
-
Funny, I can probably kick your ass any day.
-
Let's go than, I'm ready
-
Which console?

-
Edited by The Arxfiend: 2/3/2016 7:20:21 PMI know that. One or 360?
-
Stormtrance already slows you down. It's very easy to out-sprint. If you can't outrun it, maybe it's because your reaction time is too slow.
-
Trust me, it doesn't. I'm sprinting as soon as I see it, and I get outrun. Every. Single. Time. I even run as soon as I hear it go off, and again. Every. Single. Time.
-
Did you try sprinting? Because you can't sprint in Stormtrance.
-
Edited by The Arxfiend: 2/3/2016 2:31:39 AMYes, I have. Stormtrance increases speed equivalent or greater than sprinting speed.
-
I don't know what drugs you are on, but stormtrance does NOT increase speed. The only possible way it gets faster is MAYBE with ionic blink and a high agility build.
-
I've used it. I see the sprint aura on hunters, and even when out of range, I catch up and mow them down.
-
I've not only used it a good bit, but I've escaped from it as a Titan (no skating) plenty of times. I will need to test this out again but it should not be out running a hunter, especially at max agility
-
Well for one the super lasts long enough to kill enemies then run to their spawn and kill them again. And let's not forget about the fist of havoc that they unleash at the start of their super and anyone that doesn't die from it is now blind and easy to clean up. Or the fact that the melee can easily hit from more than shot gun range. The only thing not op is the jump and grenade. Anyone that says different also thought that the original blade dancer was balanced and that sunbreaker Titans were balanced. The fact that I can team wipe the other team and then rush their spawn and clean up a couple more people as they spawn is way op.
-
It's high risk high reward though. You CAN clean up a fireteam of six but can also be shotgunned down by an invective with some skill or sniped from a distance. When I'm up against great players my stormcaller is almost useless cause they know what to do, and I'm not trying to hate cause I more often than not die from them.
-
Stormcaller is fine as is, but if it must be nerfed ONLY the duration should be touched, but then buff the jump AND grenades. It is absolutely not overpowered. Anyone who says so is the one that calls for the nerfs on every other class! The only reason people think it is, is because the other classes have been nerfed. So by proxy it has more power. But the answer cannot be to continually Nerf everything until you have nothing left.
-
People were saying this before sunbreaker was nerf like how stormcaller would be next or how come no one is talking about how overpowered it is
-
Yup. Some idiots even swear it was as bad as Sunbreakers pre-nerf!
