God is just a figment of the human imagination to explain what we do not understand. Heaven is a fairytale for people afraid of the dark.

Funny how atheists don't beleive in God yet they have to beleive in God in order to not beleive in God.

Reason and logic points to a higher being, a great being, the greatest being which we call God. Therefore, to say God doesn't exist is to deny reality.

For something to be dead it has to be alive and real. CHKM8

Somthing can't die if it never existed in the first place

At least people who believe aren't people who don't have to go on social media to complain on why the world is how it is just for attention because your opinion can't change the world.

What if god did exist and has infact been dead for a thousand some odd years. And humans worship an expired religion, that is no longer taking applicants because the boss passed away.

One tag makes me think that this is bait. Oh well. Question: Is God real? Answer: Yes. Without a solid doubt. The Bible says so. Question: Is God dead? Answer: No. He is God a spirit and cannot die. Death is a consequence of sin. And God cannot sin so he cannot die. Question: Is OP baiting? Answer: Yes.

If God is dead then by extension, the human imagination is dead. And without imagination, we can't discover and invent more, so goodbye to science as well.

God is not dead

2 can play at that game God IS and forever will be real, he gave his son for us, which proves how much he loves us. That is why we must all repent, so that our transgressions may be forgiven, and so that we may enter his kingdom. I proudly say that I love God. Amen.

I'm an atheist admittedly. But you are just as bad as the people that shove their beliefs down your throat. I don't care what anyone believes in, and neither should you. The only time we atheists should argue is if someone is trying to shove their beliefs down our throats. So no, God isn't dead for some. And so what? Is it so wrong to just have a differing set of beliefs? Course not!

I have a question regarding this subject. First off, stealing a line from socrates, let me state that personally i know that i dont know. Every living being has a definitive timeline, meaning for every life there is a beginning and an end. A start and stop point. It is within that defined timeline that a value to existance is given for every living thing. As an example, a humans life lasts an average of 80 years and that life is given value based upon what a person can accomplish in that lifespan such as college, a family, a career, and so forth. We, as creatures with a defined start and end point, use such accomplisents to measure the value of our life. Through that value, we have purpose. My question, is what is the purpose of god for gods own sake? God is a being that exists outside of time, meaning god had no beginning and has no end. God just "is". But what is gods purpose? If one can imagine a life with no beginning and no end, then what value is there in any accomplishments such a being achieves? Again using an example of a human, a person who sees a life value in becoming a doctor goes to college, med school, residency, gets liscensed, and starts a practice. By the end of their life, they have used time as a currency to acquire something they see as valuable because they have a ginite amount of currency and exchange it for an item. That item (a career as a doctor) is valuable because it costs quite a bit of lifes currency, of which there is only so much. But god, a being with no beginning or end, has an infinite amount of time (currency). We've all played games with finite amounts of currency to spend on items we value within the game so we can clearly see the importance of value. But do you remember using a game genie on super NES for infinite money? It was fun at first, but very quickly, the games lost purpose because everything was immediately attainable so gameplay lost its value. It only regained value when you went back and played without the cheat codes. But without infinite money, you were again faced with spending a finite amount of currency for things you found value in. So again i ask, if god has infinite currency, then what value is there in god? And if there is no value, then what purpose does god have? And if you state that the purpose is to create life with the ability to choose to worship him or not, then let me point out that even though the bible says that the heavenly host was created to worship, but he created us to CHOOSE to worship, if he had not created the heavenly host with an ability of free will, then how was lucifer able to CHOOSE to rebel against god? If the heavenly host was created without free will, none of them would have been able to rebel. Since one did, and took a third of heaven with him, then clearly they were created with free will. If they were created with free will, like us, then what iteration of beings with free will are we? Clearly not the first. The second? Third? One billionth? Sorry this is so long, and to those of you who read all the way through, congratulations. This question has been bugging me for a long time and i figured i would share.
