What Do You Want Back From Year 1?
Ok this should be a no brainier, but I'm doing this to once again show the overlords we want this stuff.
Seriously come on Bungie. These are very, very easy things that can simply be brought back into the game to help give it some form of life. Taking away 50% of your content at the start of TTK was not a smart move. Now more than ever the year 1 content must be made relevant again. While yes, we want more new content, help keep us a little more satisfied by bringing back the old.

Where did all the creativity go? I'm liking the Telesto, though.

I would love to see the ability to reforge once per weapon. That way if I get a really awful drop I have another chance

1 ReplyEverything minus Etheric Light and Reforging. I don't think Etheric light is the best way to fix the current loot situation, I'd prefer having them adjust it to where everything drops at max level from raids and ToO lighthouse with a tiered system for IB and drops that happen during ToO play but keep the randomness in all the regular stuff like strike playlists and crucible. Personally, I wasn't a fan of reforging, at least not how they had it set up. Everyone was running around with God rolls on all their weapons.

I just want to be able to do VoG again.. But seeing as they removed elemental primaries, i highly doubt they will bring it back unless they total reworked the Vog and Crotas primary weapons elemental damage stat. [i]-ATullo[/i]

I hate the infuse crap it's so hard to get a primary above 310 unless your killing oryx every week if he drops weapons for you

I think the first option pretty much sums them up minus the weapon reforging. It's nice getting a unique roll and showing it off to people. It also keeps the rate of OP weapons with God rolls down in crucible.

Despite its shortcomings - it was still enough of what Destiny was [i]supposed to be[/i] to make people want more ... whereas Year 2 makes people want [i]more[/i] because they've had so much taken away (which is saying a lot since there wasn't that much to begin with).

Edited by PuRe Messoric: 2/1/2016 9:31:39 PMHere's what I want, I can honestly deal with all the BS as long as I have my gear back: Ice breaker queens guard helm armamentarian buff (I want to be able to have extra heavy and special ammo) I could deal with lag, bad game play, idiotic game types, Triple RNG, hackers, try hards, noob teammates, and a lot of other things I'm to bored to mention, you don't go up to a player and basically say: "yeah you cant use these guns and armor anymore unless you want to be at a disadvantage, we want you to wear all of this "new" gear that has no sentimental value to you, so stop wearing that gear that you used for the entire year of the game unless you want to be instantly kicked out of every fireteam or be blamed if your fireteam isn't doing well." and then a few months later: "OK, we'll upgrade a couple your old items so you can have them equipped and be able to do other things in the game, they're downgraded now! cool right? no one ever complained about them being OP but we thought that being able to hold an extra 8 special ammo rounds and 2 more rockets at the same time was game breaking so now you have to pick one. You also have to either buy the items again or earn them again, but earning them again is so hard especially since the nightfalls only drop vanity items that are to weak for you to use. you have to wait about, IDK, half a year more to get a few more items back, items you might not even use. wait you still want legendaries back? no way, the year one legendary gear is too OP, unlike conspiracy theory and 1k yard."

Etheric light levelling system is dumb and was way to easy. It will never make a return. I hope they keep infusion and continue to find new ways to earn better loot at maximum light lvl
