  • That's exactly how it was with the sunbreaker, except sunbreakers didn't have a good melee. Lightning Warlocks have a good melee and the best super in the game atm. Your point is invalid.

  • Meh wouldn't say the best super in the game. Consider this: there really not that hard to kill. They excel in clustered areas with many enemies. To be able to effectively chain lightning far enough, they need to run super conductor. Without that, they lose a lot of their potential evading because they won't have ionic blink. Now, they can run landfall with the correct exotic gauntlets, but not suoer more conductor and ionic blink. Frankly, they're not that hard to kill, and they don't instant kill you with their super, unless it's landfall. I think landfall was a stupid idea to give a class a smaller AoE fist of havoc with blinding grenade, but that's the only part that needs to be looked into in my opinion.

  • My KD speaks otherwise lol. Seriously though, I get dropped pretty often as a Stormcaller. It's like using self-rez but I can move. Right now I'm setup as a support role instead of offense. It actually works very well for my team. Much better than a support Sunsinger (I swear that was meant to be a joke from Bungie). In offense SC is great but highly vulnerable and very situational (clustered enemies or very close together). Its the same concept as a blade dancer. Kill them fast and keep them at a distance or you will die 99% of the time. As support I can take damage and pass on perks to my team mates that are close by (perfect for rift especially if I'm guarding the runner). They get a large agility/speed boost. There's another support perk that I can't remember right now but the point is SC is much better in a support role IMO.

  • I'm going to come off as a dick here, but it might just be because you haven't played a whole lot of PvP mane. Depending on who I'm playing with out of my usual groups, they might only kill one of us before we shut them down.

  • His point is valid regardless. Storm caller is not thr most OP super at the moment. Youre biased due to IB. Its super is ideal for IB rift because everyone rushes the spark, everyone rushes the spark holder and on top of that it doesnt really flip spawns when an enemy is in the base. I got 25 kills in multiple matches on my striker titan (least played) but could not pull off the feat on my warlovk (most played) shit. I even got a "we ran out of medals" on my GG hunter but cant pull it off with SC or SS. Titans have cauterize on melees, SC just have one perk that allows for a ridiculous ranged melee butbits not even a one shot kill unless thr person is damaged.

    One hammer plus explosive Pyre can wipe a team and they respawn and he has 5 more hammers. It's rare but possible. Same with stormcaller

  • God forbid i talk about REALISTIC scenarios, i guess. But hey, if you want to talk perfect circumstances, then the Stormtrance can still kill more. One Hammer is at least 1/7th energy. Plus wait time, having less duration than Stormtrance, you could wipe a team 4 times at BEST. Stormtrance? 1/8th due to chain lightning to kill a team. Wait time, with longer duration, and you could get 5-6 wipes. This is assuming, of course, that the entire team dies, respawns, and goes right back to the same place each time.

    It's very uncommon was my point. Most times stormcaller gets 3 or 4 people. It's possible too get 10, but uncommon. Same with sunbreaker. Either way, I don't care. Transcendence is pretty bad as a perk

  • Again, if you want to talk ideal circumstances, Sunbreaker is looking at 24. Stormtrance is looking at 30-36. Still not working in your favor.

    You really don't see that stormtrance can get 10 kills under rare circumstances. You can't say that it is the only super that can get 10 kills when it's extremely rare and not the only super that can. I just wanted to point out how stupid that comment was. Again I don't care if transcendence is nerfed because it's a waste.

  • If you're talking REALISTIC, what could ACTUALLY happen during a match, yes, is the only one that can get 10. Technically, IDEALLY, arc blade is unlimited. But REALISTICALLY, not even close. Only one of these terms actually matters, fella.

    Realistically sunbreaker can. One hammer will wipe out a team if they're all grouped together. It happens with nova bomb and fist of havoc occasionally like on heavy or the spark in rift.

  • Okay, so apparently, you're just not reading my replies. I've already covered the ideal numbers for both. You can't try to apply ideal circumstances to Sunbreaker so it matches less than ideal circumstances for Stormtrance. You have to compare them the same way. Stormtrance will win the max kill count. Period.

    That's great, good for stormtrance. Didn't say anything about that but okay. I only said it's not the only super that can get 10 kills. Stir.trance getting that many is extremely rare, but possible, same with hammer.

  • Sure I do. He can't comprehend that I'm taking about realistic circumstances. He's talking about, "well, under the right circumstances... Blah blah blah." Yeah, under those ideal circumstances, Stormtrance is still capable of more. I'm talking about real, fairly common, not relying on some insane amount of luck, every 6v6 playlist capabilities. There's no competition to Stormtrance in reality.
