I think you mean they don't speak for you. Saying they don't speak for "us" is the same as YouTubers saying they speak for "us" because, one way or another, there is one person claiming they have the authority because they are backed by many. Which may or may not be the case. Most YouTubers do seem to take the time to at least see how a vast amount of people feel about a subject. I very much doubt you did.
