The Reef, now overflowing with the 1%, the try hards, the elite spend 20 hours a day raiding and obsessing over KD. Soon the sweep bots stop working, and vaults are overflowing. You've been to busy raiding to learn to maintain them. No one has gone on a suply run to restock rations because you would have to share what you worked so hard to get. The government wouldn't supply you with food because there are no social programs. Soon the Reef becomes and uninhabitable ceaspool of toxic biproduct and exotic shards. The 1% look to the Tower... The Tower, free of the dead weight of the 1% have started to work together. They no longer view the less skilled as a burden as the 1% have always told them they were. Ships are repaired, raid mechanics are taught to everyone, and no one asks for 320 light to do VoG. The Tower receives a distress call from the Reef asking for help.... I think we all know the answer to that.
