Edited by DaCook: 1/27/2016 7:04:50 PMDo the math, you will find that most of the USA is in the top %1 of income world wide. Panada did not specify in america, and no to be in the top %1 in America, you need an income of $428,000, not even 1 million a year. Put your Bernie Sanders math away and try real numbers. "Worldwide, there are 34 million people who have a U.S. dollar net worth of at least $1 million, or 0.7% of the global adult population, and they account for 45% of global wealth. If you extend the bracket to include those with less than $1 million, but still within the top 1%, then total wealth crosses the magic 50% line. Within the top 1% is there is a much more elite club: the 0.36 percenters. These are adults with a net worth of more than $50 million, and there’s just 123,800 of them in the world. At the base of the global wealth pyramid are those with a net worth of less than $10,000, who account for a massive 71% of the world’s adult population." http://fortune.com/2015/10/14/1-percent-global-wealth-credit-suisse/

@Panda Extremist So, yes if you are able to play Destiny, you are most likely in the worlds top %1. If you feel so passionately about giving money to poor, give all your money. Don't take my money and give it away, that is what Bernie wants to do. When you want to talk about haves and have not's, please keep your sanctimonious socialist crap to yourself. Most american are well above the $10,000 net worth line for bottom of the pyramid. Keep listening to Bernie he just wants everyone else's money to spend where he wants.

you 10k is like poor right? he wants the ultra rich to give back to the country, thats all really. if you vote against him you vote against yourself.

Actually I am proud to be in the %1. Stayed in highschool, went to college on student loans (and paid them off) worked hard at minimum wage jobs, worked up past them. I worked hard to increase my skills and proved my value to companies they rewarded me. I am proud of my %1 I earn.

Daily mail. Worse, mail online. Not a great news source. They publish whatever they like then deal with retractions later. By then it's too late.
