The solution is the free market. A place that incentivizes hard work and entrepreneurship. The only evidence I need to show of lackluster tax/economic policy is the fact that American companies (Apple for example) incorporate abroad in order to avoid crippling taxes. Sanders wants to raise corporate taxes, all that will result in is more major American corporations leaving this country and taking potential tax revenues elsewhere. A gov't takes in more revenue taxing 100 companies at 15% than taxing 10 companies at 45%. It's sad that a 17 year old reading Ayn Rand can understand that and Bernie cannot.

  • No. American companies incorporate abroad so as to maximize profit, avoid taxes the rest of us pay, exploit labor and enjoy lax environmental regulation.

  • lol when people talk as if they understand corporate economics this is exactly why politicians pander to the lowest common denominators in society because they'll simply repeat their talking points as if they actually mean something

  • Yea because Apple needs to take advantage of lax environmental laws, what a joke. Also, because you obviously don't know, where you incorporate has nothing to do with where you manufacture. Companies don't incorporate in Ireland (the most popular incorporation destination) to take advantage of cheap Irish production

  • My point being the distinction between manufacturing cost and corporate taxes. The fact they're incorporated in Ireland yet manufacture in China. You should be thankful for those cost-saving business practices, otherwise iPhones would be something only the 1% could afford

  • Point taken, however Chevys are still produced domestically and I don't believe Mr Trump is the only one driving one.
