That I see, and it's pretty funny. But that's not what this post says. He's attempting to say it's OP because it's actually a good gun.

  • It was the perfect all rounder weapon last year but they'll nerf it because too many people are using it much like suros in year one

  • Suros in year one was outgunning scouts and snipers, that's why it was put down. Not because it was overused. If anyone can learn from mistakes at bungie this'll be the time they try something new and right with the weapon balancing

  • They'll never get it right because all the maps are ass and all close quarters so no matter what they do it won't work one gun will always outshine the rest

    They are, all maps are dogshit, and there'll always be a gun to outshine the rest. In all honesty this is the closest I've seen the crucible to having all guns being viable. For the first time scouts are actually usable (legendaries), shotguns aren't snipers, and snipers are snipers and people don't like that.

    I agree the state of the crucible is as balanced as ever but destiny is a game that looks to keep improving based off of player feedback so thats why I made this post to start this discussion. Right now mida's hc rounds and faster strafing allow it to outperform pulse hc and autos because the stagger makes shots miss. All I argue is that the player must sacrifice that extra mobility for hc and not have it a secret perk.

  • Snipers are snipers I'll agree but shotgun didn't need another nerf so that damage falls off just after melee range it's a shotgun people didn't cry nerf on the battlefield problems and they literally could snipe lol
