No it's the same as all the others, if you are caught unaware and in range you're screwed.
Thing with fists is watch your radar, if you catch them running up early you do enough damage on them that you will finish them mid animation... So if you are somewhere you are likely to be FoHed (like a capture point) stay alert.
If someone is coming in to contest, jump away before they get there so you won't get blindside from a foh dumped on you from around the corner.
Other than that blink gets you further away so you need less reaction time.
Close up like every other super if you are quick and shotgun them you will kill them before the animation is up.
At distance if you're good with a sniper you can kill them before they finish an animation with a headshot and save your team mate.
It's not op, all the supers have a range that if you're in it when triggered you're screwed
