I think people complain about SBMM because of all the "lag switchers" and the like who try to take advantage of Bungie's matchmaking regularly. Remember when the whole "change your MTU so you lag and can wreck in Trials and IB" happened around a year ago? Even if it is honest bad connections why am I stuck in their lobby as one of three green bars in a full lobby? It gets frustrating kill-trading because of how bad the connection is. How prevalent is the purposeful lagging today?
