Yes they can be but if you cant pull your weight dont be disappointed when you are kicked to orbit. Why should a 310 or below get a 320 drop when they were dead almost that entire section. And the people alive get 301 drops. Destiny should only reward loot to players alive at the end of the encounter

I agree. When there are 6, the load is distributed. When one goes down everyone has to pick up the slack. Annoying but not necessarily difficult.
