The reward 1K Yard Stare came with Firefly after completing The Taken War Earth.
Unless i'm mistaken and there is a second 1K Yard Stare reward in the game?
I have one with Unflinching too, but that came from a Blue engram.

Your probably right as its been a while since I got mine and I have received like 5 or 6 of them in my casual play time. But they drop so often and the quest that they are anything but rare.
