Your crucible stats are all negative, so your premise that better gear=better player is flawed. As far as the raid goes, (which seems to be your only real destiny activity) higher gear is evidence of many completions and good muscle memory and grinding skills, which is what raiding is. I don't raid because it's boring, so my light will never be high, but that doesn't mean I have less skill. My two cents.

I agree.

Right there, I feel like is the true definition of elitist. You. Right here. Completely PvE related post about a raid experience but you bring PvP stats which don't mean shit into this and you think he's wrong just because of it. That's elitist.

Edited by Conky_Nephilim: 1/20/2016 10:34:06 PMI'm saying that raiding more than once or twice is simply a grind which people perfect through repetition. Many people play the game for the raid, which is fine, but perfecting a repetition cannot be equated with skill. Being max light means you invested hundreds of hours into the raid and are great at getting through it, but not that you are a skilled player. I'm not good in crucible so don't interpret this as bragging.

Ok. That's fair. Sorry about that.
