Uh, no, the original meta was NOT pretty cool. Vex and Suros were ridiculous and shotguns were even more obnoxious than they were today. Don't even get me started on the standard fusion rifles. I'm not saying things are any better now, in fact, they've gotten slightly worse, but let's be realistic.
