So.. Just raided with a squeaker.
Joined an LFG team for the Oryx CP.
Nothing out of the ordinary upon joining the chat. Mature voices, everyone sounding pretty chilled. Always a good sign. Upon arriving in the arena, the host tells me we're just waiting for our relic runner, who went AFK right before I joined. He's a 311 Titan, but the host assured me he was a decent runner. We were running the 8 and 8 strat, and I was to take plate one.
That's when I hear it. Distant, but still clearly audible.
"[i]Mom! I'll do it after![/i]"
The shrill, obnoxious voice grows in volume as the foul beast gets closer to its mic.
"[i]No! I said I'll do it after![/i]".
A loud scratching sound emanates through the chat as the squeaker's sticky fingers fumble with the headset.
"[i]K guys, I'm back! My Mom said I gotta go soon! So we have to kill Owyx fast! K?[/i]".
My hearts sinks, but I decide to stick it out. After clearing the initial adds, I notice our prepubescent 311 Titan browsing his inventory. Oryx slams the front left plate.
"[i]K guys! I'm changing to the Twilight Gawwison! Just so I can get to the welic faster![/i]".
I hear another fireteam member snicker.
The squeaker and I leap to the first plate. "One's up". It jumps to the first interdimensional platform, activates the exotic chestpiece's evade, gets propelled clear over the boundary wall and falls screaming into the abyss..

I have got lots of these stories but my fav is a VOG along time ago. This squeaker had the worst potty mouth I have ever heard. Every other word was -blam!-, shit, -blam!-, pussy ext.... We got to the templar and I said "Young lad, can you stand on the left side please mate?" to which he replied "I'm a girl you ass-hole" She did not take this well and continued to throw her grenades at me :) She was crap tho :) P.S I know girls dont suck at destiny. But this one did :)

I like playing with older mature people because there mature voice makes them seem like they know what there doing, even if they really don't it always helps.

16 RepliesHad a little fellow a long time ago come in without a mic on Atheon. No one knew anything about him other than I who had run with him on strikes, and all I knew was that he was capable. He ended up running relic and all were impressed after initially dubious because of the lack of mic. Turned out he wasn't on mic because he was a squeaker and bashful about such. I think he was about nine years old. I didn't know he was a youngin' until a few weeks later when he finally put on a mic and spoke during Prison of Elders. He's still on my friends list, though we don't play much anymore. He's on the XB One, and I'm still left behind on the 360 after having my Day One Box stolen. I avoid most wee ones, but a few will pleasantly surprise you now and again.

Being a "late bloomer" I get a lot of shit for being a squiker but my age is not true for my attitude i also understand that my voice is annoying and in knowing so I don't talk very much. Don't judge all squikers the same. Although I can get that 8 year old little kids are very ****ing annoying and I understand where you are coming from not all of us squikers are bad. Btw I am 14 almost 15 (I know still young). - and for the 30 year old guy in his underwear that's going to comment on this and say that I'm still a little squiker bitch, just think you were once too.

That sounded like a noob and a squeaker. I don't mind squeakers if they can hold their own, they can be muted if the background noise becomes too much. You can't fix someone trying to Twilight Garrison to the relic.

Kid asked men to help him get chaperone keep in mind I don't have it, friend wanted to do trials I said let's help him, as we are at the brothers both are out music starts playing in headset WTF? As my friend and I are bounce around in circles trying to kill both brothers I noticed every time I pass the kid is hiding behind boxes pass again same thing another pass he's dead he's not even playing he's yelling at his brother my friend says can we leave now? The worst part about this he will get his chaperone, the flawless banner and other things before I do and not contribute at all. That event made me realize why people post need level 50201 light and banner proof and no squeakers!!! Hate saying it because I like helping but damn

When I first started playing WoW, I used to raid with a fairly large group of people (MC-Onx, AQ, etc) of about 40 people. Of those 40, maybe 30 had mics, and usually only the raid lead and class leads would talk, so you never really got to hear anyone else. I knew this guy from vanilla all the way thru Mop (about 6-7 years). I considered him one of the best healers I knew, and he was always the first person I would /w to run things with me. Often I brought him into raids, Dungeons and PvP Come to find out, towards the end of MoP that he just turned 16, which blew my mind, that means at 9- 10 years old he was a better healer then most I knew at the time. One day i finally I herd his voice....and it broke me. l couldn't take it, it caused a mental breakdown. I immediately (laughingly seriously) told him that he can never use his mic again. He agreed and said that's why he usually never talked. He never talked over a mic again, and he did his job and always kept us alive. TL:DR. Age=/=skill, however, sometimes it's better if you are younger with a "little" voice to just stay quite. If you are skilled, and learn quickly, you shouldn't have to talk.

ha ha, had a simliar experience, I'm in the tower doing tower stuff, get an invite to a party chat as well as an invite. I do like the invite to the party chat first, so we can talk about what's about to happen, very cool. Get into the chat, heard squeek, sqk-squeek, squueeek.......... WOOOKIEEEE has joined (said in unison) ......... Wook-13-e has left the party......... they wanted to get a raid going, might have missed out on a few laughs but I'm not thinking so

Was doing trials bounties, specifically told people that on lfg. Squeaker joins and I'm okay with that, explain I'm doing bounties again and it's a chill game he agrees. Win a few matches and then all of a sudden we lose a match.. Xxxsqueaker69xxx leaves fireteam and party.. Made some friends with people afterwards though so not too bothered! :)

2 RepliesMy 12 yo is a very decent pvp and pve player. Went flawless in year 1 and 8-1 multiple times. Can easily hold his own in the raid and gets sick to death of people, most who he even calls squeakers, quitting at oryx. that's why we haven't completed the raid yet!
