I'm actually glad that in your story had the Speaker killed off in the end. If you read the Grimoire, you'd actually realize that the Speaker was evil and clearly not to be trusted. In fact, so is the Traveler. If you watch this particular video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5NbEjkkPlI ), it gives you a little bit of insight into the Destiny universe. Although it is technically a theory, it is quite convincing. It really changed the way how I looked at everything in the game and completely altered my perspective on the backstory of who I am and what I'm fighting for exactly. But anyways, Bungie should totally hire you cuz that story idea was awesome.
