Do you get the Scarab gun to go with the emblem or a Scarab type banshee?

No sir , in Halo 2 on the 3rd mission if you worked you way over the bridge in the tank and then run for the tunnel but shoot the banshees and wraiths but leave one banshee intact and it will follow you all the way .. It's great fun doing it but you may die a lot.. Check YouTube for some better explanation...it's fun

Oh yeah. I tried that challenge for hours, but I forgot it gave you the scarab gun. I might need to try this again lol.

The Anniversary edition has a skull that turns every gun into a scarab gun, but I think you have to find all the other skulls first.

I reckon bungie used the emblem name as a homage to Halo 2 as its too much of a coincidence for them too name the emblem otherwise..... Bungie created Halo and will always try to introduce it in small ways in Destiny...long may that continue. Halo was the beginning of what is now..

Not many people remember what we're discussing but that's the problem with playing for all this time .. The Scarab gun was amazing and it took me a long time to get it on legendary as you know.. Dragging the banshee through the tunnel and getting the check point just right.. As I said great memories and fun. Better than any emblem!!!

Oh man keeping the damn banshee INTACT was a pain as it was....even luring it to the tunnel.... But on the other point yeah people are reading this and saying "i dont remember a scarab gun in destiny!?"

Ha ha .. I'd say a few vets on here would understand but they've probably no interest in it.. I have to be honest when I saw the Scarab word in the thread the Gun was all I could think off... And you're correct that getting the banshee down the tunnel intact was the hardest part... Grab the catch skull and enjoy!!! I'm gonna try that on my Xbox one later man as it'll be fun..
