Stop telling me to take off the scarab
People expect me to be mlg pro all the time just because I have the scarab on. If I have a bad game or two don't message me and tell me to take it off because it's a freaking emblem that I earned and wear because it looks cool.
Edit:Comments mostly positive and happy to know you guys don't hatemail.
Edit 2:If you go to my profile you will see all the emblems I like on each character. I only put on the scarab sometimes.

1 ReplyEver notice that actual skilled players never flaunt emblems or shaders? It's always the bad kids who just barely managed to get one, once, that get all high and mighty and in your face about it. Same with the Flawless emblem. Usually the worst players in any random Crucible game will be rocking that thing. If you're any good, you wouldn't care about it because it's so common among anyone with skill.

Some people don't deserve to wear it. In all honesty, everyone has their days that they do bad or good. No one is perfect, I get that but nearly every person I see in (normal) Crucible who has that emblem is complete trash. I see the emblem as a representation of someone who worked hard to get it or either a good player. But just because someone does bad in a game and they have it on, doesn't mean I'll message them. Instead I just say something stupid like "Hah, what a loser. They don't deserve that emblem."

They see it as an exaggerated point of pride because they accomplished something so difficult that [b]they never actually accomplished it.[/b] Its the same reason people that have been to war never really talk about it but people that want the valor of having been to war talk about it constantly.

Lol I've gotten hate mail for wearing y2 trials emblem & after giving my friend the controller (who only played destiny during the beta) did horrible obviously, then I told him I wasn't playing & told him to try me again & he never replied again
