I agree and disagree.
Games that are released and then closed do not spark the posts you see here. Because players know that complaining or commenting on change is useless as the game is closed. Example, I really wanted the developers to alter the difficulty on left 4 dead 2. The campaigns on hard were unbeatable in my opinion. Did I comment on there board or write a letter, no. Because I knew that the game was not going to be altered regardless. Now I went on to beat all campaigns on hard but my point is Destiny is a open ended game.
They have nurfed the difficulty on many things already. The developers have proven that they at least to some extent will listen and will consider what people are saying.
This fact is what drives people to comment and complain, if not to change this game then to influence Destiny 2.
I'm honestly not impressed with Destiny but I can clearly see the game fell way short of its true potential. Now my complaint would stop there, unless there's a chance that voicing that on the board might actually change this game or the next.
There is no reason to try and push back or slow the feedback coming at bungie, be it causal or hard core, bungie asked for it and left the game open to change.
And yes I doubt bungie cares about one or two people quitting. But one thing I've learned is your situation is usually not unique. If a game turns you off odds are your not the first, or second.
I can assure you, bungie is interested in why one person quit, because it's never just one person.
