[b][u]WE ARE GUARDIANS[/u][/b] Each day I check the forums to see what is wrong with our community. Each day I see a specific class being hated or wrongfully blamed for things. Each day I see a nerf thread or a salty thread or a thread that completely hates on one specific class. We are guardians and we should all work together, not blame each other for one problem that arises. We shouldn't just blame the Titans, or blame the Hunters, or blame the Warlocks. We should work together to agree on things that we [u]ALL[/u] find annoying, enraging or just plain dumb. [b]We should[/b] love the Hunters for their clever use of shadestep, smoke bombs, tethers, throwing knives, tripmines, and every other gadget they have that makes them so unique and resourceful. [b]We should[/b] love the Titans for their loving bubbles, amazing shock grenades, enemy clearing Fist of Havocs, and the fearsome sound of their Hammer of Sol activation. [b]We should[/b] love the Warlocks for their incredible grenades, amazing melee range, stupendous Nova Bombs, Song of Flame, resurrection capabilities, and intense lightning. Why do we dare to complain about our own friendly guardians' abilities when they can help us defeat alien bone monsters, time traveling robots, giant space turtles, and space pirates with them? Why do we dare to complain about our own friend guardians' abilities when they help us win cooperative crucible game modes? We are guardians, we spend days and nights working together to combat the darkness. We count on each other's abilities to save lives. We depend on other guardians to meet their limits and to always exceed them when needed. I have never seen our community so broken. "It's the Huntards and their nerfs!" "It's the damn Titans and their constant whining!" "It's the Warlocks and their ridiculous abilities!" [b]Just stop.[/b] [b]We are guardians. We are all in this together.[/b] -------------------------------------------------- Now for me to talk outside of that little speech If we keep arguing with each other about nerfs and "balances" all we're going to get is an even more broken community. We need to all come to an agreement on things and understand that if something is too powerful that we must state a very good reason why that is. If a large majority of the community agrees then we must all understand why that is, especially the ones who disagree. This is just to combat all the, "goddamn Huntards nerfing everything", "blame the Titans they nerfed Hunters so much in year one", "nerf the Warlocks' Stormtrance, it's length/power is too strong", kind of things people have been saying lately. Before the Titan nerf I was only okay with it being nerfed if some damage resistance was changed and a little bit of tracking, but the change screwed the Titans so much and now I can't help but feel bad for them. Now the Warlocks are being complained about and I don't want to see them become weak little magicians on the battlefield, I want them to be left untouched and kept as Sithlord powerhouses. Also with time I could see shadestep being nerfed because it is slowly being complained about more (it could also affect the Titans' evade because they share the same ability) -------------------------------------------------- Too long didn't read; The speech says we should not complain about each other so much and we should work together as the guardians we really are. The little part after just says we need to stop fighting about "nerfs" and "balances".
