If you're having trouble playing against Nightstalkers, then get better? Hunters are the squishiest class in the game right now, and unless the player lands a direct hit on you, you can just turn around and fire on the now recovering Hunter. Aim assist for the Shadowshot is no worse than the Hammers, and is nothing compared to the team wiping Fist or Nova. Basically, you're pissed off at the meta game that you can't adapt to, so you want Destiny to fix it for you so you don't have to try anymore. Get it over. It's just a damn game.
