Many of you may not know what myiasis is,so, before I go over my idea I will tell you what myiasis is.
Myiasis is what you can call an infection, most commonly in animals but some times in humans, myiasis is basically when fly larvae gets in human tissue, nasty stuff. The larvae is usually bot flys and usually hast to be surgically removed.
Now the weapon, it will have a long barrel with a squarish build, near the middle there will be a clear box with dirt and animated maggots and a spinning wheel with an arrow facing the player. It will be slow ROF and
Medium impact.
The weapon will have a spinning wheel and most will be brown with some green, when on brown it shoots bullets, when on green it shoots maggots.
It will work by when a maggot is shot the enemy will face symptoms. Slower movement and ROF, and after a while they will die, the bigger the size the longer the death time.
Can't beat Oryx? One maggot shot and after a few months Oryx will die of internal bleeding, freeing you, the hive will just mail you your rewards (even though oryx only gives shards and worse gear than you have anyway)
On players, to avoid being over powered, the maggot effect will disappear at the end of the game.
