Jerrall enters the Hall of Guardians. Cayde immediately takes notice.
"So, you decided to take up the offer? I knew you had it in you, old pal."
Jerrall remains unamused. He was up for a joke before, but times have changed for him, and he couldn't trust Cayde anymore. Not after the Dare.
"It's not [i]your[/i] offer, Six. You had nothing to do with this. This is for Tevis, for Aryel, and for everyone else we left behind."
"I see. Well, good luck. And, maybe, you'll come back this time?"
"Screw you, Cayde."
[i]NLS Travel / Solar System[/i]
Jerrall's Ghost materializes in the cockpit of his ship, the Ticktock Inquisitor.
"So... I guess we can call this our reunion party? Well, our second one. You know, with the first being when I first found you, so long ago. And we have a few friends to celebrate with this time. Like starting over."
Jerrall grins. He knows Ghost is confused - they haven't seen each other in years, and there isn't much good to talk about. But they've been through everything, and the Ghost is his only real connection that still exists.
"Yeah... friends. Maybe we can finally have those again. That Titan... I haven't spoken to once of their order since First Light. Jäger-33 reminds me of Cayde. I don't know why; maybe it's just the Exo. But I think we can get along. And that Alice Long... she's something else, isn't she? They're no Ghost Angels, but I think this group will get along just fine. It'll be just like old times."
"I certainly hope so. I'll be dematerialized for the rest of the trip. Enjoy the view, Guardian."
[i]Settlement Ruins / Olympus Mons / Mars[/i]
On the windswept plains on a mountain ledge, a boot materializes in the dust.
"Ugh, sand. I hate sand."
Jerrall's helmet closes around him, and it's eyes illuminate with a yellow glow. He ties his tattered gray cloak around his neck and scours the terrain. Above and below, Cabal bases and Vex structures battle for control of the mountain.
He steps forward and waits for the others to arrive.
[Open to Alice Long (MegaBeast42), Jäger-33 (Jager), Wolf (RedWolfLegend) and Beast Fire 808, as well as anyone else who wants to join :)]

Suddenly, Wolf's ship flys over them drops wolf in front of them. Hello guys, like my ship? I call her the little light. Wolf says. So... Are we waiting for the cabal and vex to start a firefight, or are we waiting for the guardian? Wolf tells them

"That is one hell of a ship. Still I think we should head down to fight, we can infiltrate the cabal base to scavenge data." "I don't know, I'll leave it up to you guys."

"Quite the ship. It's one of the stranger ones I've seen." Alice says from her seat on a nearby rock. "And if our leader-" She gestures at Jarrell "-is going to have us do anything, it's going to be searching for the last location of one of his comrades."

Ok then, jerrel! Shouldn't we be moving out to find your friend?

He nods. "Let's get ready to move. Do we want to split or stay together? This side of the mountain is less occupied than the summit, our end goal. I'll leave it to you all to decide."

We should stay together, we don't need any mishaps. We never now what we could run into.

"Alright, we stick together then. Don't be afraid to range out... I probably should've said so earlier, but here's my eventual plan. We need to capture a Vex. I've got an idea, but I expect the Tower's come up with a solution since I was last in the field. Would I be correct, or are we about to take a huge risk?"

"Depends," Alice starts "do you need the head or the body?"

Jerrall scratches his helmet. "Uh, we're actually going to need to find the Mind here, and I don't have any idea where it is. So... I devised a plan. It might work; we all might die." He shrugs. "We need to find a Hobgoblin linked to the Axis. I have a few modified Flux grenades here," he says as his Ghost materializes a sack. "They're rigged to constantly prime to explode, which - I think - should overload it's danger alert sensors and cause it to enter perpetual stasis. It should then load up its teleportation mechanic and lead us right to the Mind." He looks at the group. [i]It's one thing to be old,[/i] he thinks. [i]It's another to be old and crazy.[/i]

Alice crosses her arms. "What's the mind actually called, or weren't you kidding when you called it a Vengeful Mind?"

Garuud a Titan walks up. "Vengeful mind sounds like a bad section of the matrix... but I am always down to hunt Vex, need some help guys?"

Jerrall knows he might be in over his head, and looks around. "Well, I'm assuming these smaller Minds all connect to something larger. Something much more malevolent. Something... personal. Something that sets these logical machines in motion without being bound to its own creations. Does that make sense? Basically, the Minds we're hunting right now are the key to this Vengeful Mind... but this is all just a theory that can only be proven if we get these first." He shakes his head and turns around. [i]We need to get on track,[/i] he tells himself, [i]or I'm going to sound even more like an idiot.[/i] "So let's get to it then. I'm sure the Cabal base here has something about where we can find some Axis Hobgoblins, and maybe even the Mind itself."

"The Mind will be hard to reach, ha that's what she said. Sorry, had to. I know what the Vex are capable of, if we do find these minds, there is no telling how many Vex will come after us. Now it's that or my favorite option, we become Vex." [b]*sarcasticly*[/b] "But Jäger how will we become Vex?" "I'm glad you asked. Now if your not an Exo it will be more complicated however we need the eyes of a Minotaur. More specifically Axis Minotaurs. But how will we find the Minds? The Black Garden. If we get in we can get to the Black Garden, we are golden." "Now about becoming Vex, for Exos, we are machines, you need a direct way to get the eye connected to your brain. The Vex will see us as Minotaurs. For humans and Awoken, you need to connect them to your helmet. Sound simple, it's not. You need your helmet to be running scans on your brain using the eye, it is complicated but I can make it work." "However if the scan is a little off, the Vex will see you. If a connection is interrupted, they will see you."

"Sounds like a plan stan!" Garuud pulled out his Fabian strategy and began walking into the cabal base. ( mature voice) "do you know what we are looking for?" ( childish voice) "baddies" Garuud smiled. "A computer, probably guarded by a ton of baddies" Garuud smiled again and turned back towards jerrall "Consider this my try out bhahaha ha-ha!"

"Well, your idea seems less dangerous than mine. I like it... but I want to face it personally. To let it's creator, wherever he is, know that Jerrall Vandarc is coming for him. That we don't fear his machines. So we can run with it until we find the Mind, but once I see it, I'm charging." He starts to walk up the mountain, in the direction of the aforementioned Cabal base.

Garuud chuckled and then started titan skating up the mountain towards the base humming the theme to "Cheers" quickly passing up the hunter and then lands into the middle of the cabal force with a "Where everyone knows your name!" He then pulled out a hammer and began tossing hammer after hammer into the cabal forces. "Hammer nice day!"

A phalanx managed to sneak up behind Garuud, almost killing him before a .50 caliber went right through its brain. "C'mon, Garuud, you can make better puns than that..." A dog ran up to Alice and sat down at her feet. She recognized both the dog and the voice, but couldn't figure out where from... That is, until Ax ran a legionary over on his fallen pike, a fitting substitute for a sparrow. "Too late to join the party?" He asks, revving the engines.
