No, not at all. In fact most of them are just single use supers, Golden Gun got this so people didn't ONLY use the Symbiote. All symbiote does is force you to take out your targets faster and activate it more efficiently.

With the addition of y2 Akspine symbiote cant even compete as a used exotic

Akspine? If you mean Achlyophage Symbiote, it very well can. I use it in fact and I mean a Hunter. I find it as plenty of time, but I might be quicker on the trigger than you, I don't know.

Oh, there was no comma, I have both, but it depends of your preference of exotic capabilities. I use the Symbiote over Spine because the Tripmines don't have a spherical blast radius.
