If they would increase the time then they would probably decrease something else, you can't have one without the other

Not true. OP is basically saying there is no reason to decrease the GG time with symbiote, which is an accurate statement. Of all the changes in the last patch, this was the only one I thought was truly retarded (and didn't understand).

Edited by Te0: 1/8/2016 7:09:57 AMI saw a post where a guy did the math and if you use the symbiote and golden gun actively then after three quick shots you still have 5.25 seconds on the last round but I don't know how accurate that is, I might go on today and check for myself

Achlyophage was the most used hunter exotic in year one. By landslide. I myself am guilty of it. Im glad it got nerfed. It'll add more variety to playstyles when people arent all running the same exotic.

They themselves saw a problem with it, the same way they saw a problem with Hammer of Sol, and year one Bladedancer. If youre implying this nerf was unjustified, the Sunbreaker and Bladedancer nerfs might as well be unjustified also.

You're comparing apples to oranges. A 4th golden gun shot is better than almost anything else a GG hunter will use by default. Nerfing the armor perk was stupid. People will still use it more than anything else, besides a few people using the gauntlets for more tripmines.
