What!?
Give everyone a chance?
At whose common denominator are you operating by?
Because I feel I'm pretty basic and ppl still fall for my simple tricks. Ppl will literally walk through a vortex that has been sitting there for two seconds already. Or a trip mine or that thing the Titans throw out that shoot out sparks occasionally. People can be super unobservant and impatient. That is entirely on them, or me when I do it BC I do it also.

Edited by RegardedSkate4: 1/6/2016 5:13:40 PMYou are very basic, that's one thing you're dead on about.
-
I'm assuming that's an insult but as they say, if it works...
-
Edited by Hork3r: 1/6/2016 3:54:14 PMSmoke plus grenade is a free kill, that's what I'm trying to say. It's cheap and the player on the receiving end can't really do anything about it other than avoid you the whole match.
-
Only if you stick the smoke and place the grenade perfectly, else it's very easy to avoid... For example, if you double jump or glide or what ever as you are getting smoked, you continue to travel out of the area... It's pretty easy to avoid. Firebolt grenade with proper perks is still the best grenade by far, and it's due to the length of time you put someone out of play due to the dot that remains. But that's coming from a class who is supposed to be "magical", so what's the problem... You adapt.
-
Lol by "perfectly" you mean throw it somewhere at the enemy? You do realize that the area of the smoke and vortex isn't really small.
-
You think it's big? Hahaha, it's one of the smallest areas relative to other grenades... Do you just like making things up to further your nonsense?
-
Try stucking someone with a tripmine. That takes a perfect throw. Try one hitting someone with an incendiary, that area is small. Vortex and smoke are both big and easy. Stop lying to yourself.
-
Incendiary is easy, trip mine is harder, but you are now alluding to the fact that you make idiotic claims. BTW, the incendiary grenade has the same area. The trip mine has a larger blast area... You don't have to stick a trip mine to kill either.
-
I'm just trying to make you understand that smoke and nade is shit easy and takes no effort. But hey you're a nightstalker so you're going to live in denial anyways, so what's the point?
-
Nope. Im a guy that plays a guy that sometimes plays as a nightstalker. Sometimes Im a guy that plays as a guy that shoots lightening out of my hand from shotgun range that almost kills my opponent. Sometimes I'm a guy that plays a guy that kills my opponents with a flying knee. The other half of the time I'm a guy that gets killed by other guys doing the exact same thing. Kinda how the game works
-
Wasn't talking about you though.
-
My apologies. Lost track of the feed
-
Not to mention you have little to no experience with anything but a warlock... You are starting to sound more and more like a joke.
-
Hey, I'm just trying to let you know that every grenade is easy... In fact, vortex is the worst grenade in the game unless paired with the smoke.
-
Yup so is a grenade and any ability for for that matter. Hell, a fusion grenade by itself is a kill. Depleting two abilities for a kill seems fair to me. Nightstalker ain't the only class that can do it. I've seen complaints about at least one grenade or melee ability in each class. Seems pretty fair to me. It seems complaints about a game are becoming its own game.
-
So you think stickies are fair and square even though they don't take the slightest shit of effort and basically aim for you? There's a reason those things are frowned upon.
-
So there is another part of the game you want nerfed?
-
Ha, frowned upon. Is there some kind of colonial rules of engagement club that I'm not aware of. It's one of your weapons and its a grenade. It doesn't need skill, you just need to be close. There is some saying about horeshoes and and grenades that mirror that sentiment. Those sticky grenades kill ONE target, others grenades cause heavy damage to multiple targets. May even outright kill a group if they stay there long enough. I enjoy a good discussion about game dynamics but if ya don't like something blame the game not the player utilizing the options. Also, I'm not even seeing a good reason for it other than some unspoken code of conduct people keep referring to.
-
The point is to beat the other team, correct? If the person in question isn't cheating (and this Vortex/Smoke combo IS NOT CHEATING), then what's the problem? In the immortal words of Herman Edwards, "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME."
-
Smoke+Vortex can easily be countered. It does exactly what a Nightstalker was made to do. Which is trap their target. Amazing isn't it?
