....just turn around and take a look at that view.
This is something I feel is dying in games, and lately, it seems gamers don't care about actual artwork in games.
I care Bungie! It's a beautiful masterpiece of destruction. Tell your art team great job!
-
I do that sometimes, and everyone once in a while try to spot the dragons on Venus
-
Would Ya just look at that view
anyone get the reference ;)
-
When I'm in the moon, I stare up at the stars and watch stuff fly by hehe
-
Turn around when you get to the Lighthouse. It's pretty epic!
-
I really appreciate Bungie's art and attention to detail in their environments. Especially after having played 343s Halo games and feeling like something was missing.
-
3 words
star wars battlefront
It is beautiful!
-
For sure... For sure.
-
Whenever the game is a blowout on Pantheon, I stop fighting and go look out on the Black Garden. That's the best view in the game, IMO. Even better than the Lighthouse.
-
No idea what games you're playing but the artistic level of games is ever increasing across all game genres.
-
Perfect example by BlueWestlo
-
i like to look at the night sky in cosmodrome on top of the airplanes. the aurora borealis and the snow blowing around makes it absolutly breath taking.
-
I usually walk around the streets of London in ACS. It's fuken beautiful + Evie ;)
-
You're joking right? If anything it's the opposite, games are getting increasingly beautiful but dangerously so - to the point where the developers are focusing too much on presentation and not enough on the actual substance of the game, Destiny being a prime example IMO. And then you have hilarious cases like the Batman games where the artwork is great and so's the gameplay, but you send so much time using the batvision that you can't really appreciate it lol :(
-
The first time seeing the black garden with that music is pretty orgasmic
-
I admire the scenery all the time. The first thing I did at the reef was "turn around".
-
First thing I did in beta. First thing I did on release. First thing I did for all dlcs. First thing I really do with all games. You gotta admire the art, it's the main part of most games plus it helps you connect with the game a little more.
-
If you ever saw/did this then you'll know what I mean. Back in the good ol' days in the vault of glass, at the conflux stage, before you jump down you could jump and around the cliffs to a higher point, at this very high point there was a concrete wall that had a small corner joining the natural Rocky part of the cave, when stood in this corner, the ceiling would literally disappear and show the sun from outside the vault shining into the cave and showed it all lit up in sunlight, that was the coolest view I've seen so far in Destiny :)
-
So we're just worried about the dame artwork...okay...
-
I like looking at where the black gardens heart was from pantheon
-
Play fallout...
-
First time I played at Burning Shrine I lost the match for my team because I was looking at the skybox. Very impressive. Just wish it was part of the game instead of scenery in a pvp map.

-
Wow... Space.... makes you think how much potential destiny really could of had.
-
It's funny how often I only see the 'playable area' of the map. In this last IB that Cathedral of Dusk (I think?) kept coming up like it was stuck. I'm way tired of it by now...but I did finally get a chance to look of the edge, and it was actually kinda cool to see the surroundings. My favorite areas are the huge areas will all the stuff just hanging from chains, like in the raid, and the one strike (I forget the name, but the one where you end up dropping down into the dark area).

Old Russia. I never grow tire of it's stories that once were.
-
I check it out all the time kinda breathtaking
