He was referencing it because how fast the guy got ra[b][/b]ped by the smoke+vortex. Nothing to do with the actual combination of smoke+vortex itself.
I just want to get it clear because its a pet peeve of mine when people think that term came from destiny.

He says it all the time, wasn't just a one time thing. But yeah, it definitely wasn't conceived because of Destiny, he just took it from somewhere else and applied it to Destiny.
