Meanwhile, three ants in comparison to the two giants in the hollowed out mountain stand there watching them, before the female reaches to her wing suit and leaves it lying on the ground, then steps forward. "Hello Emaria, I have heard great and a few bad things about you. I'm Alice." She does a small bow in the direction of Emaria, although it would be hard to not aim at her with the size of her and Shovoroth.

  • Emaria looked down at three Guardians, but focused on the one that presented herself. Alice, she said. Emaria looked over at Shovoroth, the side of her mouth pulling back to form a grin. "I see you brought friends." He put on a grin of his own. "They've come for your help." She took a glance down at his neck, seeing the blood over his white scales. Her smile faded at the sight. She did this. "This wasn't your fault," Shovoroth told her, him putting on another smile, "this will heal in time. Help them, they need you more than I." She hesitantly returned her focus on the collective before her. She looked at each of them, then finally setting her gaze on the first, Alice. "Alice. I've heard of you too. You saved my mate from death. For that, I'm am most grateful."

"Well, I was actually surprised it worked. A Ahamkara his size being saved by little ol' me? Even I didn't believe that." She walks to the edge of the plateau and sits down on the edge. "But if you do really wanna make it up to me, can I get you to answer a really important question?"

  • That's when she saw movement at the edge of her vision. She looked at the source, seeing that one of Alice's companies had begun to approach. But before he could come closer, a small white object flashed into existence in front of him. "Nuh uh." It spoke. The white orb then floated over to Alice, hovering right beside her head. "I shut him up. Continue Alice." The white object turned to look up at her with its blue diamond like eye. "Sorry." It said. Then it went away in a flash of blue particles. Emaria returned her gaze back to Alice. "And what would that be, Guardian?"

  • Alice nods at where the white orb was, then stares deep into Emaria's eyes with hands behind her back. "When thy eyes looks upon the world from the vision of a giant, does one see even the smallest of souls in a world bigger than thyself?" Meanwhile, in Alice's palms, two different symbols glow in her palms. One black with a curve above four straight lines. The other white with what could only be described as a big Q with two spirals going to its centre.

  • Emaria could feel the power that Alice was channeling. She knew Shovoroth could feel it too, as he shifted in place, no doubt getting ready to take action if something went wrong. Growing suspicious, she squinted her eyes at the being before her. "And what do you mean by that?"

  • Alice never broke eye contact and never spoke, for if she did, all her energy would dissipate. But she does manage to speak in her mind a little bit. Just trust me, please. Answer the question honestly.

  • There was a long pause, even after she heard Alice speak. But after a long while, she finally broke the silence. "Yes."

The symbols slowly fade from Alice's hands, leaving her looking at Emaria. "Thank you for your answer." She turns to look at Anaxis. "Your up."

Whatever Alice did, or whatever she was planning on doing, finally finished it seemed. But all throughout that time, Anaxis was growing ever more impatient. And when the little event ended, he had had enough. He took a few steps forward, they needed answers and they needed them now. "We need to know anything and everything you know. Where has Grixis gone? What is he planning? The last we remotely saw him, he and his entire Hive fleet warped to a place beyond our solar system." Emaria seemed to sigh at his response. That was never a good sign. It was one that he didn't want to hear. "I wish I knew," she said, before looking at Alice, "much like the connection you have with Shovoroth, I could not see what he sees, only feel what he feels. I still feel him. The pain, the anger, the hate." She looked up at Shovoroth, then returned her sight back to Alice. "Shovoroth told me of Grixis' past. How he was tainted with the purest of Darkness, sought help, only to have his friends turn against him." She closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath then breathing out, then opening her eyes again. "I know I should hate him, after everything he has done. But instead, I pity him. He went to the only ones he could call his family for help, only to find betrayal waiting for him. The Guardians wounded him. He sees the Light as the purest evil in existence. I just wish there was some way to help him. But it may be too late for him."

Alice looked up at the roof of the cave. "There's a way to do anything in this day and age. I mean, just the other day I cleansed a Giant of Grixis's darkness, who says I can't do the same now that I'm infused with both sides of the spectrum?" She looks up at them from where they lay. "Or didn't you two know that?"

Anaxis stepped into the conversation. "It is too late for him, he's committed acts that at are unforgivable. And Alice, even if it were possible to 'cure' him, do you think he's going to accept it? No. He's made the Light his sworn enemy." "As much as I hate agreeing with the Guardian," Shovoroth spoke, "he's right. When he and I first discovered one another, I sought out to cripple his mind, as I did any other Guardian that I felt. It was an attack strong enough to kill an Ahamkara, yet he was capable of resisting me without so much as a struggle. Something as powerful and dark as Grixis, can't be allowed to live."

  • Garuud took this all in and nodded. " So, it looks like we have a hunt ahead of us! Quick question for Emaria though, so if you feel what he feels. Does he feel what you feel?"

  • Emaria shifted her gaze onto the third. "And finally our third has spoken. To answer your question; I do not know, but most likely yes."

  • " I was just taking all of this in, its a bit like the gathering of the fellow ship ya know? But would that not mean that if he was able to listen in on those feelings, he could listen into more? What about you Alice, can you tell where Shovoroth is without asking him?"

  • "I don't really know. He has spent the last few days making this cave difficult to see or feel for Grixis, and I haven't really tried to find him. But I can talk to him easily no matter where he is. I wouldn't see why Grixis can't hear this stuff." She sits up again. "But if he can hear us, I'd love for a visit or two."

  • Anaxis let out a defeated sigh. They had nothing to go on. Nothing. Fantastic. He looked up at Emaria, putting on the best metallic smile he could under his helmet. "Thank you for your time." With the only thing left to do, being to get the House of Stars with them, he turned and walked toward the mountain entrance. "Wait." He heard Emaria call out. He looked back at the Ahamkara. "I said that I didn't know where he was, but there may be a way to find out." That got his attention. He turned fully to face her. "How?" "When you all arrived, I entered a state where I could only feel what Grixis' Oversoul would let me, just like with you, Shovoroth, just like with all of his Reborn. But, I felt something else. It pulsed with the same power. It was small, almost non-existent, but it was there, and it was close." "Where?" She said nothing, only pointing her head up to the mountain roof. Confused, he followed her gaze. There was a large hole, high in the side of the wall, and it showed a complete view of the full moon in the night sky. That's when it hit him. "It's on the Moon." "If you wish to know where Grixis is, it is there that you might discover it."

  • Alice stood up and walked over to where her wing suit lay on the ground in a heap. She crouched down and picked it up in a bundle. "I have another question, it only occurred to me a few seconds ago, and depending on the answer, it may lead to another question." She stood up and faced Shovoroth. "You are, from what I know, the biggest Ahamkara alive today. But has there ever been a bigger one in the past?"

  • "No. Emaria and I have always been the largest of our kind." Shovoroth responded.

  • "What if, instead of trying to go for the biggest anymore, such as you two, knowing full well we have you both on our side, but the fact your so big means your harder to control. What if...?" She turns to face the wall, running a hand through her hair. "What if he's planning on reviving the Ahamkara race, starting with the small ones, the ones easier to control, then making his way up to the big guys." She turns to face Shovoroth and Emaria. "To you two. That's why he's on the moon, because that's where he started his Ahamkara search, that's where he knows the largest amount of Ahamkara bones are. What if his goal isn't to attack us himself, but to send an army, the army he knows you two won't fight."

"That is a possibility. But he himself isn't there, it was too weak to be him. It couldn't be one of his Shades either. No, something else is there." "There's only one way to be certain," Anaxis put in, "we need to get to the Moon and find it."

  • The hell was she- Right, she couldn't teleport while anyone looked at her. Weird. Just weird. Anaxis closed his eyes and turned his head, assuming that Garuud, Emaria and Shovoroth did the same.

  • Everyone turned away except for the Ahamkara's, who couldn't turn their heads around completely, but it was good enough. A few seconds past and when they next looked back, Alice had disappeared into the shadows, and she stood on the moon. I kinda rushed out of there without being told where to start looking. Does Emaria have anywhere I should start?
