Garuud looked up as he climbed to the final lip of the mountain. " I don't get why he made his home here... but it is roomy...for a mountain." Garuud chuckled as the Ahamkara approached.

  • "You'll see." She says watching his descent. "besides, you guys need to get out more and complete the bucket list you guys have." When Shovoroth got closer, she prepared herself, ready to jump. "You two are gonna have one shot at this, so I suggest you time it well."

  • " I got this!" Garuud yelled as he got ready, his boots making divets in the ground from the pressure of him pushing against the mountain.

  • Anaxis lowered himself to the ground, waiting for the moment to jump, quite possibly, into death. "Well this is gonna be fun." With one beat of his wings, Shovoroth angled himself into the skies, keeping his massive fore-claws open so the two Guardians could jump onto him.

  • She smiles, and waits for Shovoroth to fly by so she can use his slip stream to keep herself in the air. "I think it's safe to say that I'm glad I'll be-" She pauses for dramatic effect "-staying behind."

  • Shovoroth knew what Alice was wishing to do. The corners of his mouth pulled back at the thought. He wasn't going to disappoint. He continued to glide toward the mountain, until he was a few meters away from the peak. Once he was close enough, he angled himself into the air, and with one massive beat of his wings, lifted himself high into the air, creating a torrent of wind rivaled that from a hurricane. The resulting blast of wind caused several avalanches to occur on the mountains around them. He soared past the mountain. He glanced down at his claws, seeing the two Guardians in the palm of his hand. The psychotic one was most likely having the time of his life. The other, not so much. He let out a chuckle, sounding like a deep rumbling sound in his throat, returning his focus ahead of him. He wasn't concerned with Alice, however. He already knew where she was.

  • Above Shovoroth, Alice rides the winds he produced. She laughs out loud at the speed she flies through the air, the roaring sounds around her of avalanches beginning giving her a massive boost of adrenaline. I see why you love to fly. She thinks. Its quite the rush.

  • Shovoroth couldn't help but grin at the statement. It truly was a wonderful thing to fly, especially after so long. He returned his focus back to reality as they made their destination. A large wall of snow and frost awaited them directly ahead. It stretched from left to right as far as the eye could see. But this was not a natural occurrence. This was of his own making. As he approached the blizzard wall, he ceased his connection to the world around him. Immediately, the blizzard began to die down until a section of it ceased to exist. When it did, it revealed another thing that only an Ahamkara like him was capable of. A mountain, broader and taller than any other, with an opening in the side large enough for him to enter and exit through, stood absolute in the middle of the torrent of the blizzard. As they passed through the threshold of the blizzard, he connected to the primal forces of the world, sealing the gap in the frost-like wall.

  • When they went through, Alice closed herself up, limiting the amount of wind that would whip at her from the blizzard, essentially falling with style now. But as soon as they were on the other side, she opened up again, letting herself glide once more. How did you do all this? I mean, the power you wield is unimaginable to me.

  • Shovoroth turned and tilted his head to the side, allowing himself the ability to look back at Alice gliding nearby. All Ahamkara are connected to the world. Most could only allow small things to occur: rainfall for example. Fewer could cause small disturbances. But there were only two that could bend and shape the world to their will. Luckily it was with two that knew the boundaries of themselves and the world around them.

  • Emaria, the only one that equals me in every way. He folded in his wings slightly, letting himself fall a bit to position himself in front of the large opening on the mountainside, then opening his wings to their full length again. He had a straight shot to the cave. The closer he got, however, the more worried he became. Something wasn't right. Usually Emaria was at the Cave's mouth when he passed through the storm, but she was no where in sight. He beat his wings harder and faster, trying to close the gap between him and the mountain as fast as he could. In minutes he reached the mountain, quickly landing on the ridged rock platform outside the cave. He quickly deposited his passengers, hearing two thumps and a grunt of disapproval shortly after. But that was the least of his worries at the moment. Practically diving into the cave, he began to scan for Emaria. His definition of a cave was truly an entirely different meaning to anyone else, as this was no cave, but a nearly hallowed out mountain. The radius of the interior was at least three miles long, with many platform-like hills varying in sizes. A medium size lake filled the center of expanse. One other feat was that in some sections high above, were holes that allowed sun and moonlight to enter. The light would then hit one of the many clusters of crystals decorating the walls, casting the cave in a spectacular array of colors. He looked all around, trying to find her in the cave, which was already difficult with her entire body being the color of the night itself. But he finally caught movement from one of the rock platforms close by. She was laid up against the wall, eyes closed. He looked at her sides, seeing that she was breathing in small, short breathes. His fear was confirmed. She had another one of her episodes while he was away. Cursing Grixis and himself, he darted toward his mate's platform.

  • Alice's question seemed almost non-existent, as he was too focused on the situation before him. Once he came to the platform, he quickly climbed up, reaching the top in almost no time at all. "Emaria, what-" The moment he reached the top, her eyes snapped open, revealing her black eyes and her white slit eyes that were now as narrow as a blade's edge. Every muscle in her body tensed up, and like a viper, her head shot out at him. The move was so quick, so unexpected, Shovoroth had no time to react. Emaria's jaw latched onto his neck, her teeth sinking in deep and drawing blood instantly. He roared in pain at the attack. Every move he made to break free of her grip failed, as each move he made, her bite only tightened on his neck. Suddenly her head withdrew. He looked at her, to find her standing on her feet, looking at him through horrified eyes. She shrieked away from him slightly. "Shovoroth," she spoke, voice nearly trembling, "Grixis, the Oversoul! I'm sorry, I couldn't control myself!" "It's okay. It's over, you didn't mean too." He replied. But everything wasn't okay. If anything, her situation was getting worse. She had moments where she would become angry, but she would always snap out of it. But this? Whatever battle she was fighting within herself, she was losing. He went over to her side, and laid there with her, draping his wing over her. "It's going to be okay."

Meanwhile, three ants in comparison to the two giants in the hollowed out mountain stand there watching them, before the female reaches to her wing suit and leaves it lying on the ground, then steps forward. "Hello Emaria, I have heard great and a few bad things about you. I'm Alice." She does a small bow in the direction of Emaria, although it would be hard to not aim at her with the size of her and Shovoroth.

  • Emaria looked down at three Guardians, but focused on the one that presented herself. Alice, she said. Emaria looked over at Shovoroth, the side of her mouth pulling back to form a grin. "I see you brought friends." He put on a grin of his own. "They've come for your help." She took a glance down at his neck, seeing the blood over his white scales. Her smile faded at the sight. She did this. "This wasn't your fault," Shovoroth told her, him putting on another smile, "this will heal in time. Help them, they need you more than I." She hesitantly returned her focus on the collective before her. She looked at each of them, then finally setting her gaze on the first, Alice. "Alice. I've heard of you too. You saved my mate from death. For that, I'm am most grateful."

"Well, I was actually surprised it worked. A Ahamkara his size being saved by little ol' me? Even I didn't believe that." She walks to the edge of the plateau and sits down on the edge. "But if you do really wanna make it up to me, can I get you to answer a really important question?"

  • That's when she saw movement at the edge of her vision. She looked at the source, seeing that one of Alice's companies had begun to approach. But before he could come closer, a small white object flashed into existence in front of him. "Nuh uh." It spoke. The white orb then floated over to Alice, hovering right beside her head. "I shut him up. Continue Alice." The white object turned to look up at her with its blue diamond like eye. "Sorry." It said. Then it went away in a flash of blue particles. Emaria returned her gaze back to Alice. "And what would that be, Guardian?"

  • Alice nods at where the white orb was, then stares deep into Emaria's eyes with hands behind her back. "When thy eyes looks upon the world from the vision of a giant, does one see even the smallest of souls in a world bigger than thyself?" Meanwhile, in Alice's palms, two different symbols glow in her palms. One black with a curve above four straight lines. The other white with what could only be described as a big Q with two spirals going to its centre.

  • Emaria could feel the power that Alice was channeling. She knew Shovoroth could feel it too, as he shifted in place, no doubt getting ready to take action if something went wrong. Growing suspicious, she squinted her eyes at the being before her. "And what do you mean by that?"

Whatever Alice did, or whatever she was planning on doing, finally finished it seemed. But all throughout that time, Anaxis was growing ever more impatient. And when the little event ended, he had had enough. He took a few steps forward, they needed answers and they needed them now. "We need to know anything and everything you know. Where has Grixis gone? What is he planning? The last we remotely saw him, he and his entire Hive fleet warped to a place beyond our solar system." Emaria seemed to sigh at his response. That was never a good sign. It was one that he didn't want to hear. "I wish I knew," she said, before looking at Alice, "much like the connection you have with Shovoroth, I could not see what he sees, only feel what he feels. I still feel him. The pain, the anger, the hate." She looked up at Shovoroth, then returned her sight back to Alice. "Shovoroth told me of Grixis' past. How he was tainted with the purest of Darkness, sought help, only to have his friends turn against him." She closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath then breathing out, then opening her eyes again. "I know I should hate him, after everything he has done. But instead, I pity him. He went to the only ones he could call his family for help, only to find betrayal waiting for him. The Guardians wounded him. He sees the Light as the purest evil in existence. I just wish there was some way to help him. But it may be too late for him."

Alice looked up at the roof of the cave. "There's a way to do anything in this day and age. I mean, just the other day I cleansed a Giant of Grixis's darkness, who says I can't do the same now that I'm infused with both sides of the spectrum?" She looks up at them from where they lay. "Or didn't you two know that?"

Anaxis stepped into the conversation. "It is too late for him, he's committed acts that at are unforgivable. And Alice, even if it were possible to 'cure' him, do you think he's going to accept it? No. He's made the Light his sworn enemy." "As much as I hate agreeing with the Guardian," Shovoroth spoke, "he's right. When he and I first discovered one another, I sought out to cripple his mind, as I did any other Guardian that I felt. It was an attack strong enough to kill an Ahamkara, yet he was capable of resisting me without so much as a struggle. Something as powerful and dark as Grixis, can't be allowed to live."
