Hey guys, this is a small post but I think it will get bungie thinking about community made subclasses or even full classes.
I just want you to comment all of your ideas, from single abilities & perks, to subclasses & classes.
Any idea that comes to mind, let 'er rip.
If you would like to make a separate post regarding new subclasses/classes to keep things organized, please use the #newtaken tag
Thank you :D

Edited by curly fries: 12/31/2015 6:59:16 AMAight, I'm loving the "pure light" concept, know what I mean? Like going all "BWAHHH I AM DA TRAVELER" when you launch your super. Just saying. I already posted this in another thread as well. The Quest: Elemental Conception
Step One: Visit the Speaker. He asks you if you truly know of the light, and offers you a gift: his knowledge of the light. But you must prove yourself worthy... Step Two: Demonstrate the power of the Light. Kill 100 non majors / ultras with each subclass node; void, arc, and solar. Achievable through abilities only. Step Three: Demonstrate the command of the Light. Kill 25 Majors with each subclass node. Abilities only. Step Four: Demonstrate the focus of the Light. Kill 5 Ultras with each subclass node. Abilities only. Step Five: Demonstrate the cruelty of the Light. Defeat 10 Guardians in the Crucible with each subclass node. Abilities only. Step Six: Demonstrate the mercy of the Light. Revive 5 Guardians with each subclass activated. Step Seven: Return to the Speaker. The Speaker warns you that knowledge is far more dangerous than you realize. He hands you a "Mysterious Vial" (consumable). Drinking the vial's contents results in verum imperium: true control of ones fate. The Speaker sends you to the Prison of Elders to face the Darkness and glimpse the Light in its true form. Step Eight: Visit Variks. Variks nods, looking at the Guardian in confusion. "As you wishhhhh..." he says, confirming that the Guardian can enter. Step Nine: Face Kaliks Reborn. Instead of entering the normal rounds, you are sent directly into the Fallen Chamber to combat the rebuilt Pilot Servitor, Kaliks Reborn. However, something is off: there are no assistants to the Servitor. And this Servitor is quite powerful. Reaching out with tendrils of pure Arc, the Servitor appears to heal from any gunfire. Within minutes, your weapons are stripped from your Guardian. You are placed into a Detainment field. Steadily, the Pilot Servitor advances on your Guardian. <An alert appears to use the Consumable.> Upon using the "Mysterious Vial", you tremble and shake. Looking at the Pilot Servitor, the environment slows. The HUD disappears. "Supercharged" appears on the screen with no depiction of a super. The screen goes to white upon activating the Super. Pulsing with Light, you activate the Super. Light streams from you. Curling along the ground, slithering along the detainment shield. Soon, these tendrils begin to weave around faster and faster inside of the Shield. Illuminating to a bright white, a massive pulse occurs. The detainment shield shatters, and the floor rumbles, leaving a devastated looking Guardian on the ground. Crawling to one knee, the Guardian looks to the Pilot Servitor. Recalibrating, the Pilot Servitor begins to retreat, calling out reinforcements. The Guardian steps forward to the middle platform. He looks down upon the Servitor, Light creeping along the ground, slamming doorways and pinning the Servitor to the spot. In the air, Fallen ships break orbit, and begin to unload. Queen's Guard appear in the distance to assist. They are not needed. Falling to their knees, the Guardian clenches their fists and begins to glow immeasurably with the Light. Gunfire rains upon them. Without warning, the Guardian appears to explode with the light, annihilating the area. The gunfire is no more. Step Ten: Return to the Speaker. You tell the Speaker of your experience. Nodding sagely, he warns you of how powerful the Light can be. "But only the true masters of the Light can wield such power", he claims. "Knowledge requires sacrifice, Guardian," he says, turning to you. "You must go where the Darkness is strongest. Confront death itself." Looking out at the Traveler, he whispers to himself. "Light, requires sacrifice..." Step Eleven: Descend into the Hellmouth. Complete a solo mission. Dropping into the Hellmouth, you are in the first portion of Crota's End. However, the lamps are deactivated. A faint red glow fills the Hellmouth's depth. It sets you on edge, of course, but the eerie sounds of Hive scratching are far worse. Stepping off of the original plate, you feel your Light immediately begin to drain. Just a few meters from the plate, you already feel the full weight of the Darkness. The Hive movement is nearly unbearable now. You can sense it off in the distance. But they sense you too. As you move up to look for the source of the Hive, Thrall begin to swarm up and over a hill. Screeching in hunger, they rush. In hundreds, they're already upon you. Firing into the crowd, they fall like flies. Mercilessly crawling over each other, they seem endless. With no Heavy Ammo left, you are forced to retreat. At the same moment, the Thrall begin to turn. Looking back, they scream and retreat back behind the hill. You decide to investigate after some time. You reload your weapons and use a synthesis. Unbeknownst to you, ammunition will not make a difference in the upcoming confrontation. You look over the hill. In the distance, Hive are being wiped into nonexistence. Those that don't die are retreating even further. But... Why? A single red light turns to you. Its the Vex. A Line Rifle beam shoots past. An array of hundreds of Vex heads turn to you, a grid of red eyes drawing to your position. The only option is retreat. Falling back behind the hill, you attempt to fire back at the Vex. A couple units fall, but they push the advantage on you and go up to the hill. You shred them as they try to climb over. One by one. Your ammunition is draining quickly. Worse, the Vex only grow stronger. Behind you, units begin to teleport into a strategic position behind the hill. After long enough, you only have a few more magazines, you slide behind a rock to maintain position. Emptying your last mag, you hide into a gap between the rocks. You attempt to throw a grenade, but the weight of Darkness is far too strong. Looking at Ghost, you sigh. He looks down, and then heads out to scan the enemy forces. Even hundreds of meters out, there's Vex glistening back at you. Ghost huddles up to you, looking into your visor. You look back, defeated. He sighs and glides into the crook of your arm, sending out one final scan. The ground rumbles. No, no, not the ground. Its you. A deep stirring builds in your very soul. Looking out at the Darkness, you quiver in power. Ghost brings up roughly 200 Vex units out in the distance. Looking back at you, he begins to shake sadly, but instead jumps back. Recalibrating, he attempts to analyze the Guardian before him. You glisten with the Light. You are the Light. You are strong. You are a Guardian. And Guardians never die. <<Continues in the Class section>>
May readers understand that full descriptions for each class will be shown in another spoiler after the basic class descriptions. Plus, I'll put the subclasses for this in the description. Yes, I understand, not everyone will love them. Theyre just ideas and I wasnt planning on redoing them. Totally tell me what you guys think of them, though. I love hearing new ideas! But here goes!
