S: "Well... If you don't want to, then--" J: "Hey guys, I'm ba-- whoa, you two are getting cuddly" Jaden had returned from the makeshift hangar, back to where Switch and Erik were.

Erik immediately pushed himself to his feet and drew his Last Word, aiming it at him. He recognized who it was and holstered it again. "Jesus! Don't do that!"

J: "Uh, suuure... Sorry? Should I be saying sorry or something?" S: "no, Jaden. You don't have to say sorry" Switch also got up of his back and onto his feet.

"I tripped, that's all. Nothin' else. Right, Switch?" He gave a barely noticeable nod to him.

S: "Uh, yeah sure. You actually did trip. On that piece of metal, from which I had no idea where it came from. Like, at all" J: "uhuh. Cute. Well, I just came back to say that Zaaria will be here in a moment. She had a personal run in with Aries apparently. Sounds like fun"

"Awesome. Cool. Yeah..."

S: "what about the ships?" J: "all prepped and ready to roll. I triple checked that, by the way" S: "and what about the Vex network taps?" J: "still have no idea what those are or what they do, but they're good to go as well"

"How...?"

J: "hmm, say what?" S: "how... What?"

"How do you know if they're good to go if you don't know how they work?"

J: "I don't. I lied. Sue me" S: "ugh, I'll check them..." Switch walked off the outside platform in the direction that Jaden had entered.

"You mind forgetting that ever happened?"

J: "Sure thing... Sweetie" Suddenly, a distant muffled voice echoed onto the platform. S: "I can hear everything you two are saying over up there, you know..."

He halfheartedly punched Jaden in the shoulder. "Great." He leaned in toward Jaden and spoke softly to him. "I'm not your sweetie. Not yet, if anything."

J: "uhuh. Well, I don't lean that way but you're free to lean any way you desire Mr Taken" S: "forgive his awful jokes, Erik"

He chuckled and put a hand on his shoulder. "I like you, Jaden. I'm glad we're on the same side."

J: "I'm glad I'm on the same side as Jaden too" S: "I'm not..."

"Huh."

Soon enough, Switch returned onto the platform. S: "Yep, the network taps are indeed good to go"
